Cristopher Sanchez Over 6.5 strikeouts (+162)
Cristopher Sanchez put on a show in his last start. He punched out 12 San Francisco Giants hitters on his way to his best start of the young season. He’ll challenge a Mets team on Tuesday night that ranks in the middle of the pack versus LHP in terms of K%, but this is a spot where the Phillies desperately need a vintage Sanchez performance with how bad their bullpen is. With an outs line of 17.5 juiced to the Over, expect the Phillies to lean on Sanchez to get them into the 7th inning and the southpaw doing the business in the strikeout department.

Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 over New York Mets (+132)
The Phillies offense was shut out through 8 innings by Tylor Megill and company last night. Then, the top of the 9th inning came, with Edwin Diaz looking to close it out. The Phillies’ middle and bottom of the order led the way in the 9th, with leadoff hitter Bryson Stott then ringing in a 3-run shot to close the lead to 1. Diaz struck out Trea Turner and Bryce Harper to end the game, but it’s encouraging to see the offense show fight. I expect Mets starter Griffin Canning to struggle against a Phillies team that ranks in the top 5 in K% and BB% versus RHP. All that in mind, Philadelphia should be able to win this one by multiple runs.
