LA Lakers ML over Indiana Pacers (+140)
The Lakers have really upped the pace in their last 4 games, averaging 126 points — which has resulted in a 4-game win streak. Apart from the Wizards, they have defeated some really solid teams in the Knicks, Clippers and Warriors during this stretch. With 8 wins in 9 games they are one of the hottest teams in the NBA. LA has played surprisingly well during this stretch and the hype surrounding the Doncic trade has helped lift the team spirits even more.
LeBron James is still dominating on the offensive end; he just had a huge 42-point, 17-rebound and 8-assist performance in the win over Golden State. It’s always a question how much he has left in the tank for the next game, but playing at home should be a boost. I’m taking the consistent Lakers to get another result.

Pascal Siakam to score 25+ points (+175)
Siakam just put together one of his best all-around performances of the entire season by putting up 33 points and grabbing 11 rebounds on 13-for-19 from the field in the win over the Clippers. It was his second game of 30+ points in the last 5 outings, so the Pacers have one of the most consistent forwards in the NBA in him. Siakam has also been that in games played against the Lakers over the years – in the last 10 meetings he is averaging 24.5 points per game, he has cleared this line 6 times during that stretch dating back to his days with the Toronto Raptors. His last game at Crypto.com Arena saw him drop 36 points and grab 12 rebounds, with Anthony Davis gone the Lakers no longer have a lengthy big man they can throw at Siakam.
LA is one of the weaker teams when it comes to paint protection; opponents are scoring 50.5 points per game from up close this season. Although Siakam does most of his damage from the mid-range I expect him to attack more. We have seen the Lakers up the pace quite a bit over their last 5 games, if that’s the case on Saturday everyone’s stats should go up. Too bad for Siakam his output will be in a losing cause.
