The best rivalry in the NFL takes place on Saturday evening in Baltimore, with the Ravens hosting the AFC North leading Pittsburgh Steelers. Let’s get into my best Steelers vs Ravens player prop bet for Saturday, while you can also check out our NFL picks for EVERY Week 16 matchup.
Jaylen Warren (PIT) over 49.5 rush + rec yards (-117)
Odds available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Starting running back Najee Harris had a nightmare of a game last Sunday in Philadelphia. He ran the ball a season-low 6 times for 14 yards. You could argue that he also fumbled, but it was credited to Russell Wilson. All that has resulted in Harris having just a 12.5 rushing attempt line versus the Ravens ahead of Saturday’s duel in a game where the Steelers are 6.5 point underdogs. Instead of fading Harris, I’m pivoting to backing Jaylen Warren – the explosive running back mate to Harris who has been outstanding in the receiving game.
Due to Warren’s receiving upside, he’s unlikely to be phased out of the game. All it takes is Harris to struggle in the ground game for Warren to see an uptick in work. Keeping the Ravens offense off the field is priority #1 for the Steelers. In a highly anticipated divisional matchup that tends to play close, I’d expect Warren to be heavily involved. For what it’s worth, FanDuel has this same prop at 55.5 rushing + receiving yards, so take advantage of this line on Caesars and Bet365.
