Sunday Night Football for Week 1 should be just as entertaining as Thursday night’s matchup as we have the Los Angeles Rams (+4.5) traveling to Detroit to take on Jared Goff and the Lions. This is another playoff rematch from the divisional round where the Lions won 24-23 and both teams have Super Bowl expectations for 2024. The Rams come into this game missing LT Alaric Jackson and CB Darious Williams, recently moved to short term IR.
The Lions championship aspirations come with new additions DE Marcus Davenport, DT DJ Reader, OG Kevin Zeitler, and trading for CB Carlton Davis. We’ve also got a total set at a Week 1-high 52.5 points, so this game should produce winning tickets with BIG odds.

The hype around Kyren Williams heading into this season needs to be met with expectations. LA Rams Coach Sean McVay prefers to use a RB by committee approach since Todd Gurley’s early retirement and this season should be no different despite Williams having success in 13 starts. The Rams offense without Kyren completely stalled in the games he wasn’t available due to injury. With that in mind, McVay drafted Williams’ carbon copy in Blake Corum out of Michigan. After seeing McVay announce that Corum will manage kick returns and Kyren managing punt returns, plus the fact that Corum didn’t play a single snap in the preseason tells me all I need to know about this backfield…it’s a two headed monster. The Rams tackles will be suspect in Week 1 due to injuries, but the interior part of that line is a force. Corum is small and decisive, with this number at 23.5 I’m expecting Corum to see 6-8 carries and believe he’s good enough to land in the 4 yards per carry range out of the gate. Heading back home to Michigan is just a bonus for Corum. I like this for 1u and it’s playable up to 26.5.
