Week 17 wraps up with the Detroit Lions looking to stay in contention for the #1 seed when they make the trip to San Francisco to take on the 49ers on Monday Night Football. When the schedule makers set this game, they likely assumed it would be a potential NFC Championship Game come early. Unfortunately things haven’t panned out that way, as the 49ers have already been eliminated from playoff contention, but we should still see a ferocious game as Detroit looks to get some revenge after losing to San Fran in the playoffs last year.
With that in mind, let’s get into our best Lions vs 49ers player prop bets for MNF, and you can also find out our NFL picks for this matchup and every game in Week 18.

Isaac Guerendo Under 15.5 rush attempts (-115)
Odds available at Bet365 at time of publishing.
There’s no doubt that Isaac Guerendo has played a lot more this season than he ever could have expected, already logging 4 games of 10+ rushes, but he could struggle to make an impact against the Lions. He has put up decent yardage when he has had double-digit carries (99, 85, 78 and 57 yards) but now finds himself going against a Detroit defense that has allowed the 3rd-fewest yards per carry with opponents attempting by far the fewest rushes against them in the NFL. This makes sense given Detroit’s ability to keep the ball on offense and at times run up the score, forcing opponents to abandon the run game and air it out in an attempt to keep up. Guerendo’s last appearance against the Rams was the only time he has gone over this line this season (he had 16 carries), but that was a close, low-scoring battle. The game script in this matchup is unlikely to be similar, so Guerendo having 15 carries or fewer looks the right bet here.
