The Chicago Bears’ season can’t come to an end soon enough: they’ve lost 7 straight games, had their head coach fired and went through a rollercoaster of perspectives on Caleb Williams. On Monday Night Football, we will receive another primetime look at Williams, but this time on the road in Minnesota as a 7-point underdog. The Vikings are cruising along at 11-2 and an astounding 8-4-1 ATS on the season, while riding a 6-game winning streak. The Bears lost to Minnesota back in Week 12, but Chicago made the game interesting in the second half. Bears running back Roschon Johnson is scheduled to be out Monday night, while D’Andre Swift should be good to go in the Chicago backfield. Let’s dive into our best Bears vs Vikings player prop bet for MNF’s NFC North contest, while you can also find out our NFL picks for both of tonight’s Monday matchups, with our Falcons vs Raiders predictions also available.

TJ Hockenson (MIN) over 40.5 receiving yards (-120)

Line available at Bet365 at time of publishing.

TJ Hockenson has been relatively quiet since returning from injury, outside of his performance against the Bears last time where he had 9 targets, 7 receptions and 114 receiving yards. It’s a great matchup for him on paper when you consider the Bears rank 31st in yards per route run to opposing tight ends and 6th overall in yards allowed. He’s hit this number in 3 out of 6 games played on the season for over 11 yards per reception. The Bears pose difficult matchups defensively on the ground and this will be a matchup Sam Darnold and the Vikings want to exploit. Hockenson has also cleared this line in 2 of the 3 games this season that he’s played over 60% of the snaps, so let’s get to the window with the Vikings TE in this one. This is a 1u play from me.
