Why have only 1 Monday Night Football game when you can have 2? That is the question. Week 14 has the answer: there is no good reason! This week does, in fact, bring us 2 Monday night showdowns – one of which sends the Green Bay Packers east for a date with the New York Giants. The red-hot Packers are looking to continue their playoff push, but they won’t overlook a Giants team that has suddenly won 2 in a row. Let’s take a look at the best player prop bets to be made, and also make sure to check out our full Packers vs Giants predictions.
Jayden Reed, WR, GB, Over 40.5 receiving yards (-110)

Aaron Jones and Christian Watson are questionable for the Packers, and their absences would give Reed an even bigger role on Monday Night Football. If Watson is out, the Michigan State product will likely be Love’s favorite target. Romeo Doubs can also be productive, but the Love-Reed connection has been stronger over the past few weeks. Reed has at least 5 targets in each of the last 4 contests to go along with 180 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns during this stretch. Now he has the benefit of facing a Giants secondary that has been extremely generous of late. New York is #20 in the NFL in passing defense (228.3 ypg) and gives up 7.1 yards per pass. Look for Reed to capitalize, to the extent that he may go over this number even with room to spare.

Darius Slayton, WR, NYG, to score a touchdown (+500)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.
I don’t love any other traditional player props, in part because of Green Bay’s uncertainty at running back and also due to the fact that Tommy DeVito will be under center for New York. As such, I like the value on going big with more of a longshot play – in this case backing Slayton to score at +500 odds. Although DeVito is inexperienced and certainly nothing special, he has thrown 4 touchdown passes without getting picked off a single time over the past few weeks. One of those scoring strikes went to Slayton, when the former Auburn standout hauled in 4 of 5 targets for 82 yards. That was Slayton’s first TD of the season, but I think he has a good chance to keep the momentum going. New York’s RB1, Saquon Barkley, has run for just a single touchdown so far in 2023. It’s not like this team has a dominant back in goal-line, short-yardage situations. It’s also worth noting that CB Jaire Alexander and S Darnell Savage are both questionable for the Packers.
