Monday Night Football is a double-header with the first game showcasing #1 overall pick Bryce Young of the Carolina Panthers at home against the New Orleans Saints. Young struggled in Week 1, but it may be a season long theme as the Panthers offensive line is lackluster. New Orleans squeaked out a win against the Titans at home and Derek Carr looks to move to 2-0 to start the season. The total is set at a meager 39.5, as both teams had a hard time finding the endzone in Week 1.
Let’s take a look at the player props in this NFC South showdown.

Jamaal Williams to score a touchdown (+135)
Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.
Rarely do I make a TD play one of my main player props, but this is for good reason. Williams is 1 year removed from leading the league in rushing TDs and was kept out of the endzone in Week 1 despite seeing 18 carries. I’m not going to overreact to one performance and assume that Williams will see more red-zone touches Monday night, especially on a Saints team that struggled to put points on the board. Tyler Allgeier had 2 rushing TDs against Carolina from 3 yards out and that is just the type of situation I see Williams scoring on Monday night. 1U.

Miles Sanders rushing attempts under 14.5 (-115)
Line available at Bet365 Sportsbook at the time of publishing.
The Saints did a really good job keeping Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears in check Week 1 and Sanders will have an uphill battle if he wants to break one deep. Sanders only hit this line in 41% of games last regular season behind one of the best o-lines in the NFL. In Carolina, teams will be daring Young to beat them with his arm — and until he does, Sanders should be seeing 8-man fronts. To add another layer of complexity, Sanders only saw 57% of snaps in Week 1 while giving way to Chuba Hubbard and Laviska Shenault. 0.5U.
