On the bright side there are two NFL games this Monday night. The downside is that one of those games is the Tennessee Titans (+1) vs Miami Dolphins. This will be the game we keep on in the background while we’re cleaning up the kitchen after dinner, but we might as well have some money on the game while we wait for the main course of Detroit and Seattle. The Dolphins are just trying to stay afloat after Tua’s concussion and the Titans are an abysmal 0-3 with early question marks about Will Levis’s long term upside. This game does have a lot of explosive playmakers on both sides of the football in terms of skill position, but the guys throwing them the ball are less than ideal.

Will Levis (TEN) over 192.5 passing yards (-110)

Yes, I bashed Levis in the open and I’m still playing his over. I like short lines and this one falls under that category. The Titans quarterback has been a laughing stock this season for his poor decision making and reactions…to those poor decisions. However, this number is still too low. He’s coming off his best game of the season in terms of passing yards, touchdowns, completion %, yards per attempt and air yards per attempt. I’m not saying he’s the next Josh Allen, but he’s at least trending in the right direction. Keep in mind, these guys don’t play in preseason much and there is a new coaching staff in place that will come with a learning curve. He’s shown improvement week over week so far, and it’s important to note that Miami is in the bottom half in pressure percentage and blitz rate. Levis’ completion percentage jumps to 71% and he’s top 12 in yards when not blitzed, so this is an opportunity for him to continue ascending and possibly pulling off his first win of the season. CB Kendall Fuller and LB David Long did not practice on Friday and would be a huge loss for Miami if they cannot go.
