Rice is now the clear-cut #1 option in an offense that just lost #2 weapon in RB Isaiah Pacheco last week. Rice has seen 9 targets resulting in 103 yards and 7 targets for 75 yards through 2 weeks. This line may appear high, but when you dive into the matchup with Atlanta it makes a lot of sense. The Falcons run zone defense at a top-5 rate in the NFL despite being ranked 30th in defensive success rate, 30th in completion rate, and 23rd in first down + touchdown rate according to PFF. For Rice, his eyes should be lighting up at this. He owns the 3rd-best fantasy points per route against zone defenses this seasons and I think he’s going to have a big game on Sunday night. He is averaging 14.8 y/r so far this season and with Kelce being a shell of himself, expect a high volume night for Rice in the target column.
