I don’t think the NFL could have planned this Monday Night Football game any better if they tried: both AFC East teams coming into tonight on a 2-game losing streak. The New York Jets are short underdogs at home after recently firing head coach Robert Saleh and elevating defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich to the interim head-coaching position. The Buffalo Bills are in dire need of a win after going 0-2 in the gauntlet of Baltimore and Houston on the road. For his career, Josh Allen is 7-4 against the Jets with 6 rushing TDs under his belt (most against any team) and for me he looks a great pick in the Bills vs Jets anytime touchdown scorer market, should you be interested. But for now, let’s get into my best Bills vs Jets player prop bet for MNF, while you can also see our NFL picks for tonight’s game.

Breece Hall (NYJ) over 3.5 receptions (-130)

Line available on FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The Bills are allowing the most receptions to opposing RBs this season and the Jets in a primetime spot against a divisional opponent have to show signs of life on offense after Saleh was literally shown the door. Breece Hall has been wildly inconsistent this season running the football but has been better than average in the receiving department. He hit this in 3 straight games to start the season and missed it in the last 2, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence they have lost those last 2 games. Aaron Rodgers can’t push the ball downfield much anymore and I attribute part of that to poor offensive line play, but Hall has been his safety valve. When Hall hits this mark, the Jets are 2-1 and they average 22.3 ppg. When he doesn’t hit this mark, the Jets are 0-2 and average just 13 points per game. I expect to see more Hall in the passing game in a massive spot at home. This is a 1 unit play from me.
