There are two games on Thursday night involving the city of Philadelphia and the city of Houston. This will be the one with less attendance. The Eagles are 14-point favorites on the road against the Texans on Thursday night in what is a homecoming game for Jalen Hurts. The Houston native is putting together an MVP-like season and trying to get the Eagles to 8-0 on the year. Blowouts can be tricky for player props so we will need to tread lightly. Let’s dive in!

Dallas Goedert over 46.5 receiving yards (-114)
Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Goedert has hit this line in 5 of 7 games this season, missing the last two against Dallas and Pittsburgh. Both rank top 10 in tackling according to PFF and top 10 in receiving yards per game to opposing TEs. The Texans are ranked 29th overall in tackling and 25th overall in yards per reception to opposing TEs. The Texans have not faced many top-tier tight ends this season, but they have given up some big performances to the likes of Gerald Everett and Evan Engram.
Goedert had a stretch to start the season where he had 5 straight games with a reception of 23+ yards. If he can grab one of those, this line can be had in only 3 receptions. A nice pivot would be longest reception over 19.5 yards. 1U from me.

Dameon Pierce over 86.5 rushing + receiving yards (-114)
Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
We are going to get a heavy dose of Dameon Pierce on Thursday night and if the trend of TNF unders continues, then he should still be getting carries in the 4th quarter. Pierce runs very well between the tackles and the Eagles will be missing DT Jordan Davis, who has been a big piece of that successful run defense in Philadelphia. He has 539 rushing yards for the year and 318 of those came after contact. The rookie RB leads the league in broken tackles (16), and the Eagles have had struggles with missed tackles this season (ranked 31st according to PFF).
Aside from his rushing, Pierce has been active in the passing game, catching 20 receptions for 98 yards. According to NBC Sports, Pierce has a broken tackle every 7.6 attempts, which is the best of any running back in the NFL. Pierce has hit this line in 5 of 7 games this season. This is 1.5U play for me. Pierce should shine in primetime.
