I think we’ve all learned to just expect disappointment in these Thursday Night Football games. There is a strong possibility that Jeff Bezos is hammering the under to recoup the money he spent to acquire these primetime games. However, there is some light at the end of the tunnel this week with two bottom 10 scoring defenses squaring off. Andy Dalton will likely get the starting nod this Thursday as HC Dennis Allen made comments about not rushing Jameis Winston back until he’s fully healthy, and their bye week is approaching. Under Dalton, the Saints are averaging 30 points per game. For Arizona, out goes Hollywood Brown and in comes DeAndre Hopkins, returning from a 6-game suspension.
If we get a 24-17 game, I think fans would be ecstatic after the last few weeks of Thursday Night Football. Let’s see if we can find some plays for the Saints (+2.5) vs Cardinals.

Marquez Callaway over 28.5 receiving yards (-120)
Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.
Chris Olave is expected to play, but Jarvis Landry, Michael Thomas and Adam Trautman are out. Callaway has started 2 of the last 3 games and hit this line in both starts. In those two starts, he saw 6 and 7 targets with an average aDOT of 14 yards. The Cardinals are in the middle of the pack in terms of allowing 20+ yard receptions. This is essentially 3 receptions for Callaway in a game where he is the #2 wide receiver and could be playing from behind. This is a 1U play from me.

Zach Ertz under 47.5 receiving yards (-117)
Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.
Hopkins is back and Rondale Moore has taken off since returning. Ertz could sadly be sliding down the pecking order on Thursday night, and he does not get a favorable matchup. The Saints have done a great job shutting down opposing tight ends this season. Only Noah Fant has hit this line against the Saints all year and 32 of those yards came on one reception. Ertz has hit this in 3 of 6 games this season, and the Saints rank first in DVOA against tight ends, allowing only 29.7 YPG. The Saints allow only 5.6 targets per game to tight ends, and when Ertz gets 8 targets or less, he’s 1 for 8 against this number. 1U from me.
