We need to find out what the Broncos have on the NFL that’s given them this many primetime game through 6 weeks of football. Denver (+4.5) is traveling to Los Angeles to play the Chargers for Monday Night Football and I am once again optimistic we will see a quality Broncos offense. The Chargers have been riddled with injuries and have underperformed compared to expectations. The same can be said for the Denver Broncos on both fronts. This Chargers defense is exactly what Russell Wilson needs to get moving in the right direction. Let’s find out more on why below.

Russell Wilson Over 1.5 passing TDs (+140)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

Javonte Williams is gone. Melvin Gordon is questionable. It’s time for Russell Wilson to take command of this offense with the two stud WR’s he has at his disposal. The Chargers are allowing 2 passing TDs per game (27th overall) and their zone scheme allows for the 26th-most completions per game. This is the definition of a get right spot for Wilson as every QB that Los Angeles has faced this season has hit this number except for Jacoby Brissett. I’m on this for 1U.

Gerald Everett Longest Reception Over 15.5 Yards(-105)

Line available at DraftkingsSportsbook at the time of publishing.

Everett has hit this in 3/5 games this season and I’m buying low as he comes off his worst performance of the season. We’ve seen Colby Parkinson, Will Dissly, and I’m counting Kyle Juszcyk as a TE for this exercise, all hit this number against the Broncos through 5 games. Surtain will likely blanket Mike Williams, who has been known to disappear at times, so Everett will be relied upon. The biggest reason I’m on this play is that the number is just too low. Everett was seeing 16.5 and 17.5 longest reception before his dud performance against Cleveland last week. His biggest asset is his ability to make plays after the catch. He’s averaging 5.5 yards after the catch per reception with aDot’s that have been as high as 13.7 in one game. I’m expecting Everett to be a factor in this Chargers offense against a Denver scheme that Brandon Staley is very familiar with. 1U on Everett. Play up to 16.5.

Anytime TD Scorers

Courtland Sutton +170

Gerald Everett +240
