Four of the NFL’s biggest stars will take to Las Vegas this summer for a day to remember on the links.
Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers will face Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes in “The Match” on June 1 at The Wynn Golf Club. The event pits a pair of the NFL’s all-time greats against a duo of the league’s brightest stars at the quarterback position.
This will be the first appearance in the event for Mahomes and Allen. Rodgers enters The Match as the defending champion, as he and Bryson DeChambeau knocked off Brady and Phil Mickelson a year ago.
Here are the opening lines for the 6th installment of The Match.
Betting odds to win The Match
As expected, the tandem of Brady and Rodgers have opened as -160 favorites to win this event. Both played in this event last year, and their experience and success have led the duo to open as favorites over the upstart pairing of Mahomes and Allen (+125).
We tried to make this a tag team cage match but the lawyers said our contracts wouldn’t allow it…#CapitalOnesTheMatch is back, June 1st. Let’s kick their ass @AaronRodgers12 | @JoshAllenQB @PatrickMahomes pic.twitter.com/3ByQqBkIJR

How to watch The Match
The Match takes place on Wednesday, June 1 at 6:30 p.m. ET. Live coverage of the event will be aired on TNT.
Get to know the course
The Wynn Golf Club — a par-70 championship length course — plays host to the event. Designed by Tom Fazio, the course has plenty of hazards in play for a course located right on the Vegas Strip. Players will encounter water on 12-of-18 holes as part of a course that is “built to accommodate and challenge golfers of all skill levels.”
The Match History
The Match debuted in 2018, when Mickelson defeated Tiger Woods as a +175 underdog. Since Mickelson’s victory, the favorite has won 3 of the last 4 meetings in this event.
Brady is 0-2 lifetime in The Match, with his first loss coming at the hands of Peyton Manning in 2020. However, this will be the first time that Brady will be paired with another Hall of Fame quarterback, and a defending champion at that.
