NHL Wednesday mega parlay (+747 odds): Take 2 puck lines and an under

Minnesota Wild

Wednesday is the final day of NHL games before the all-star break. We have 5 games on the docket tonight, and we are enhancing the action with a 3-leg mega parlay. This parlay is paying out north of 7/1 odds on FanDuel Sportsbook. Along with this parlay, don’t forget to check out our full game previews for each NHL matchup.

Now let’s get to it.

Wild -1.5 (+146)

Calgary Flames -1.5 (-112)

Kraken vs Islanders under 5.5 (-122)

Parlay odds: +747

Minnesota Wild -1.5 (+146) vs Chicago Blackhawks

The Wild have been rolling lately, winning 8 of their last 10 games, which includes a sweep of a back-to-back series with Chicago. The Blackhawks have been struggling, with only 1 win in their last 7 games, allowing 28 goals during that stretch. The offensive gap between these teams is massive, as the Wild are a borderline top-10 offense while the Blackhawks are in the bottom 5. The divide really shows when you look at the offensive production from these teams. The Wild are averaging 3.8 goals per game, which ranks 3rd in the league. The Blackhawks average 2.42, which is 29th. Projected starting goalies, Cam Talbot for the Wild and Marc-Andre Fleury for the Blackhawks, both rank below 70th in goals saved above expected. Look for the Wild to lean on their offense to carry them to a big win.

Calgary Flames -1.5 (-112) vs Arizona Coyotes

The Arizona Coyotes were +460 on the moneyline last night against the Colorado Avalanche and they pulled off the biggest upset in the NHL since 2006! However, they may have a tough time attempting another massive shock tonight against the Calgary Flames. Calgary thrives on the road, going 15-9-2 this season. The Flames also continue to be the best team in the Pacific Division in terms of goal differential at +30, which means they are consistently outscoring opponents. Calgary is also 14-12 against the spread in 26 road contests this season.

Last night’s big win was just Arizona’s 5th home victory of the season in 21 games. Don’t expect lightning to strike twice for Arizona tonight as the Flames are a disciplined team and should batten down the hatches. Look for Calgary to win this one by multiple goals.

Kraken vs Islanders under 5.5 (-122)

Both of these teams are playing on the second half of back-to-backs, so there could be some tired legs on both sides. Philipp Grubauer has been awful in net for Seattle, as his .885 save percentage on the season is the worst in the league. However, it’s not like New York is an elite offensive team. On the season, the Islanders are scoring just 2.42 goals per game, which ranks 30th in the league. The Kraken aren’t much better, scoring 2.60 goals per game, which ranks 25th in the league. Seattle has scored exactly 2 goals in 4 straight games, and it would be surprising if they surpass that number in this one. Look to the under in a matchup between 2 low-scoring offenses.
