Coyotes/Wild over 6 (+100)

Parlay odds: +1026

Carolina Hurricanes -1.5 (+205) over Dallas Stars

This is the first meeting between these teams since being in the same Central Division last year. During their season of battle, Carolina pounded this matchup, as they were 6-1-1 against Dallas. The Stars are going to have their hands full with a team who has a 9-2-1 record playing on the road. Carolina is coming off a loss against the Washington Capitals in a huge divisional game. That won’t sit well with head coach Rob Brind’Amour, and he will expect more from his club in this one.

The Hurricanes have the edge offensively, as they are putting up 3.30 goals per game, which ranks 8th in the league. Dallas has struggled to score goals on a consistent basis, and they enter this one 21st in goals per game with 2.74. Carolina is also a sound defensive team that should be able to limit Dallas’ scoring chances while the offense goes to work. Look for the Hurricanes to win this one by multiple goals.

Tampa Bay Lightning vs St. Louis Blues over 5.5 (-118)

The Blues have given up a lot of goals lately. St. Louis enters tonight’s game having allowed 3 or more goals in 8 of their last 10 contests. That doesn’t project well for stopping a Lightning offense that has scored 3 or more goals in 8 of their last 10 games. On the flip side, the Lightning have allowed 3 or more goals in their last 3 road games, while the Blues are averaging over 4 goals per game in their last 5 home games. This game features a pair of very talented offenses that have looked weak on the back end. Neither defense is playing their best hockey right now, so this one could be a high-scoring affair.

Arizona Coyotes vs Minnesota Wild over 6 (+100)

The Wild and Coyotes both rank in the bottom half of the league when it comes to goals against, and while Arizona may not be scoring many, Minnesota sure is. The Wild average the 4th-most goals per game, at an average of 3.60. That is an impressive number that will probably increase after this tilt with the Coyotes. The number seems even more likely to increase as their top gun Kirill Kaprizov has finally gone on a tear, with 12 points in his last 6 games. We shouldn’t need much from Arizona to take this one over the total.
