Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.
LA Kings ML over the Buffalo Sabres (-132)
The Los Angeles Kings have begun the season stumbling out of the gates as they are off to a 2-5-1, despite the red-hot start from their captain Anze Kopitar, who has 11 points through his first 8 games. They are coming off a commanding 5-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens and this could be the start of a good run for the Kings as they have been playing much better hockey than their record implies. The Kings will be going up against the Buffalo Sabres, who are off to a very surprising 5-1-1 start to their season. It is only a matter of time before the Sabres come crashing back to earth and begin playing like the below-average NHL team that they are.
These teams have not met since December 2019 and both rosters have seen significant changes, so there is a sense of unknown between them. The Sabres will be starting Dustin Tokarski in goal, who is a decent AHL goaltender at best and if the Kings can keep up their 60% powerplay success rate from Saturday night, this game shouldn’t be an issue for them. Include the LA Kings in today’s parlay.

Columbus Blue Jackets ML over the New Jersey Devils (+115)
The Columbus Blue Jackets will be coming into this game rested up and ready to take down the New Jersey Devils who are on the second half of a back-to-back. The Blue Jackets will be looking to bounce back from the 4-0 loss they suffered from the New York Rangers on Friday. They have continued their trend of being a solid defensive hockey team, as they are allowing just 2.71 goals against per game early on in this new season. When taking the Blue Jackets into consideration, everyone is usually concerned with their lack of offensive production. This shouldn’t be much of a concern in this game as they are going up against a poor defensive hockey team in the Devils. The poor defense will be backed by Scott Wedgewood who is sporting a brutal 3.45 GAA and .878 SVP. The top scorers on the Blue Jackets should be able to get a few past him. The juicy odds for the road underdogs will help beef up the odds of your parlay.

New York Rangers -1.5 over the Seattle Kraken (+180)
The New York Rangers are off to a fantastic start to this campaign and they are also coming off a dominating 4-0 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Igor Shesterkin has been lights out to begin the season. His stat line through his first 6 starts is very impressive with a 1.81 GAA, .944 SVP, and one shutout. Not much gets past him. With him in the net, it allows their elite skilled players to play with all the more confidence. That should be the difference in this game, the elite skilled players of the Rangers. The misfits that are the Seattle Kraken do not provide the same punch offensively that the Rangers do. This won’t be good when you consider the 3.13 goals that the Kraken are allowing per game, compared to the 2.25 that the Rangers average. I expect the Rangers to be leading late into this game, which should provide an empty net opportunity to cover the puck line, should it be needed. Take the Rangers on the puck line for the juicy odds.
