The NHL is back in full swing, and we’ve got a massive 12-game slate on Saturday. What better way to make things more interesting than with another mega parlay? We’ve got a three-leg bet to kick things off, going with three puck lines at significant plus money to ensure a big payout.
We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every NHL game first. Washington Capitals -1.5 (+160)
Columbus Blue Jackets -1.5 (+185)
Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 (+225)
Parlay odds: +2308
This parlay offers the chance of a huge payout north of 20/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. I like all of these individually, and the Lightning in particular have a lot of value. Let’s break them down one by one:
Washington Capitals -1.5 (+160)
To start this parlay off we’re going with the Capitals on the puck line in one of the early games. Washington is fifth in goals per game and fourth in power play conversion percentage, so they’ve got the kind of offensive upside I’m looking for with my puck line teams. The Rangers are just 1-4 in their last five games, and are averaging only 1.4 goals per game in that span. In two of those games they’ve been shutout, so I really don’t see them putting up much of a fight on the road here. Washington has scored at least three goals in 13 of their 15 games this season, so I think this puck line has some serious value. +160

Columbus Blue Jackets -1.5 (+185)
The Blue Jackets beat Nashville 3-0 in the first game of this set on Thursday, and I don’t see any reason to believe they won’t do it again here. The Predators are an absolute disaster right now, having lost seven of their last nine games. Five of their last six losses have come by multiple goals, so I think they’re a perfect team to fade on the puck line. Nashville is averaging just 2.19 goals per game, the third-worst mark in the league, and they’re killing an abysmal 67.8 percent of their penalties. Columbus is racking up a ton of penalty minutes this season, so I think they’ll take full advantage. +185

Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 (+225)
To bring this parlay home we’ve got the Lightning on the puck line at better than 2/1. Tampa got embarrassed by Carolina the last time these teams played, so I think they’ll come out angry and want to win by as much as possible. As I mentioned I’m looking for offensive upside with puck line teams, and the Lightning sure have that as they average a league-high 3.86 goals per game. Andrei Vasilevskiy will start at goalie for Tampa, and he’s only allowing an average of 1.92 goals per game this season. The Lightning also have a big rest advantage here, as they were off on Friday while this will be the second half of a back to back for the Hurricanes. It looks like Carolina will start the inexperienced youngster Alex Nedeljkovic in goal, which won’t go well against this Lightning attack.
