Three of the 4 series in action are tied at 1-1, as there’s been no shortage of excitement. The only one that isn’t is the Metro Division rivalry between the New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers. We’ve targeted that matchup and 2 others for our NHL mega parlay. We aren’t focused on the afternoon contest, so hopefully you have plenty of time to lock in this play at incredible +1004 odds.

Tampa Bay Lightning 3-way ML (+145) over Toronto Maple Leafs

It’s safe to say that the first that this series has been back-and-forth in the most extreme way. Game 1 saw the Lightning upset the Leafs in 7-3 fashion, with Thursday night’s Game 2 seeing nearly the same result in reverse with a 7-2 Toronto win. The series now shifts to Tampa, which bodes well for Steven Stamkos and company. The Lightning finished the regular season with an incredible 28-8-5 home record, which was behind only the historical season of the Boston Bruins.

The Leafs were just behind Tampa in that regard, and the Lightning were still able to steal a game up in Canada. Keep in mind that the Leafs were knocked out of the first round by this same Lightning team that still has Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov, Brayden Points and goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy leading the way. That type of experience and leadership is a primary reason why Tampa is looking to reach the Stanley Cup Final for the 4th straight season and 3rd title in 4 seasons. The Lightning also ended the year as the highest-scoring team at home this season, and with their offensive performance in Game 1, we’ll trust them back on home ice this weekend.

New Jersey Devils ML (+120) over New York Rangers

Perhaps the most surprising series thus far is this one between teams that are virtually neighbors. It may be tough to back the Devils after seeing the results of Game 1 and 2, but this is nothing short of a must-win for them. It won’t be a far trip, as they’ll only need to cross the Hudson River to get to Madison Square Garden. Despite the Rangers convincingly taking a 2-0 series lead, they’re still only around -140 favorites on home ice. That demonstrates that oddsmakers have completely given up on New Jersey just yet either.

Not only will they not have to take a long trip, but the Devils were also excellent on the road. Like the Lightning at home, New Jersey ended the season with the 2nd-best road record at 28-9-4. As you may have guessed, only the Bruins were better. One of those road wins came at MSG against the Rangers, with the Devils finding the back of the net 5 times. They may not notch quite that many goals Saturday, but we expect their defense to perform better. The change of scenery away from the pressures of the home crowd should also allow them to play a bit looser and ultimately pull off the upset.

Colorado Avalanche 3-way ML (+105) over Seattle Kraken

The last series of the night being tied at 1-1 may not seem like it’s been exciting at first glance, but the Kraken truly have impressed. Not only did they steal Game 1 in Colorado, but they also jumped out to a 2-0 Thursday night in Game 2. However, the defending-champion Avalanche finally seemed to wake up. They fought back and got the win, but with their lack of dominance, we’re still able to get them at plus-money without even needing them to win by multiple goals.

Despite a lackluster start to the series, they still have the skating talent to do just that. Like the Devils, the Avs were great on the road this season. They’re generally a home team, but they actually had the 4th-best road record in the NHL this year. That bodes well facing a Kraken team that was in the bottom half of the league in terms of home record. These teams only met once in Seattle this year, but it was Colorado that came away with the win. The Avs were able to be so strong away from Denver by allowing the 5th-fewest goals per game on the road. Therefore, we anticipate a low-scoring game on Saturday night that ultimately ends with a Colorado win.
