Parlay odds: +932
Minnesota Wild -1.5 (+164) over Los Angeles Kings
The Kings are coming off a 4-0 win over the Stars on Thursday, but Los Angeles has not won back-to-back games in a month. They should have a tough time against a Minnesota team that is red hot right now. Coming into this game, the Wild are riding an 8-game win streak. Among those 8 games, teams Minnesota beat include Edmonton, Toronto, Tampa, and Winnipeg. In those wins alone against those other solid teams the Wild outscored their opponents by a total of 19-7.
Minnesota and Los Angeles played in October in each team’s third game of season. Minnesota won that game 3-2. Since then, Minnesota has had better goaltending, more blocked shots, a better goal differential, and more hits as they play a heavier game. Pair a head-to-head team statistical advantage with a hot streak and it’s a combination that will be tough for the Kings to stop. As long as they don’t take their foot off the gas, the Wild should be able to stay hot against the Kings.

Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 (+118) over Ottawa Senators
The Lightning have gone 4-0-0 so far on their current road trip, and they have outscored their opponents 18-8 in that span. Offensively, the advantage is all Lightning. Tampa Bay ranks in the top 10 of all offensive categories, while Ottawa is in the bottom 10. The Lightning offense has been so good that you have to go back 15 games to see when the last time they only scored 1 goal in a game, which was over a month ago.
Defensively it is more of the same, as the Lightning rank in the top 10 in all defensive stats, while the Senators are in the bottom 5. This is highlighted by the Senators allowing 3.88 goals per game, which is the most in the league. Look for the Lightning to control the game against an all-around bad team on both ends of the ice. Tampa should roll in this one.

Canadiens/Blues over 6 (-126)
The St Louis offense has been dangerous so far this season and tends to score a lot of goals at home. The Blues are scoring nearly 4 goals per game on their home ice, and they are coming off a 6-goal performance against the Red Wings on Thursday. Montreal’s goaltending has been shaky at best, and the Blues should be able to have a strong offensive night.
Montreal’s offense is nowhere near as strong, but the Blues are having some goaltending issues of their own. Jordan Binnington is on IR and not available and backup Ville Husso was placed on IR on Friday. Charlie Lindgren figures to get the start, which would be just his 2nd start this season. This could be a high-scoring affair. Look to the over.
