It finally came to an end. The Florida Panthers had won 6 straight Stanley Cup Playoff games, which was a franchise record. After being down 3-1 to the record-setting Boston Bruins, they eliminated them and then got out to a 3-0 lead over the Toronto Maple Leafs. However, they finally suffered a 2-1 loss in Game 4. That sets us up for a Game 5 back in Toronto on Friday night. With another elimination game on the horizon, I have put together a Panthers vs Maple Leafs Same Game Parlay.

Florida Panthers ML (+146)
Oddsmakers continue to show little respect to the Florida Panthers. They were underdogs of around the same price in the first 2 games of the series, which were also in Toronto, and they pulled off back-to-back upsets. Then, when the series shifted down to Florida, the Leafs were still favored in both games. That all came after the Panthers were able to defeat the Bruins in Game 5 and Game 7 to advance to this round. In other words, going on the road does not seem to affect this Florida squad.
It makes sense, as their physical style of play travels. Much like they say defense travels in the NFL, beating up on the opposition seems to travel in the NHL. There’s still no denying that the Leafs have incredible talent, but they’re simply softer compared to the Panthers. Let’s also not forget that if not for a rather lucky deflection off an official’s knee for Toronto’s first goal of the game, they struggled to score even just once in Game 4. They very well could have been eliminated on Wednesday, and Florida can now do so to spoil their return to Toronto.
Sam Reinhart anytime goalscorer (+240)

Now that he has another opportunity to eliminate the Leafs, Reinhart’s consistency should shine through.
