The NHL is really beginning to roll now that we’re almost three weeks into the season, and what better way to kick off the week than with an NHL mega parlay? We’ve picked out three teams to hopefully banish those Monday blues and start February off hot.
Make sure you check out our betting previews for every NHL game tonight, which includes our picks on the side and total. It’s been nearly two weeks since we last had a losing day on our money line and puck line picks, so don’t miss out on those to get the best advice for today’s action.
Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 (+152)
Boston Bruins -1.5 (+184)
Vancouver Canucks ML (+150)
Parlay odds: +1689
For a three-team parlay, this bet offers great value with a payout of almost 17/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. I really like Boston and Tampa Bay’s chances tonight, and by betting them on the puck line they get a nice boost. Even if they are only up by one late in the third, there’s always the chance of an empty-net goal to cash in on as well. As for Vancouver, they’ve been on a serious roll lately and look a great value pick. Let’s break them down one by one.
Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 (+152)
Tampa Bay is looking every bit like the reigning Stanley Cup champions, having started the season 4-1-1, and can prove their class against Nashville. The Lightning defeated the Predators 4-3 last time, but were 4-1 up going into the third period and I don’t think they will be so complacent at the finish this time. Tampa is leading the league in shots on goal with 34 per game, and if they can hit high gear in the powerplay then they can rack up the goals against Nashville. Goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy had a below-par performance for the Lightning on Saturday and should be able to bounce back and keep the Predators at bay.

Boston Bruins -1.5 (+184)
Washington got the better of Boston in overtime when these two teams faced off on Saturday night, but I like the Bruins’ chances of bouncing back in style this time. Despite losing the game 4-3, Boston outshot Washington 43-23 and won 55 percent of faceoffs. The Bruins also continue to be one of the hottest powerplay teams in the league, having now scored in five games in a row. If Boston is able to replicate that effort with sharper shooting then I expect them to win this one comfortably. David Pastrnak made his return to action for Boston on Saturday and with the cobwebs blown away he should be able to put in a solid performance. The Bruins can stamp their authority in this one.

Vancouver Canucks ML (+150)
Vancouver is beginning to look like the team that pushed Vegas all the way in the playoffs last season, and represent tremendous value tonight against Montreal. The Canucks are on a four-game winning streak and have looked outstanding both on offense and defense. In those four games, they have scored 20 goals and conceded only four. Much of that defensive fortitude is down to the heroics of goaltender Thatcher Demko, who boasts a .914 save percentage this season. Granted, Montreal got the better of Vancouver the last two times they played, but this feels like an entirely different Canucks team even though that last defeat was just a week ago. The Habs slumped to a 2-0 defeat against the Flames last time, and I think they’ll have a tough time scoring in this one.
