Now let’s get to it.
Lightning vs Ducks over 6 (-110)
Wild -1.5 (+172)
Coyotes vs Islanders under 5.5 (-134)
Parlay odds: +806
Lightning vs Ducks over 6 (-110)
The Lightning have come out of the stoppage firing on all cylinders. They have scored at least 3 goals in all but 2 of their 11 games since the break, scoring 5 or more goals 4 times. The last 5 Lightning games have gone 3-1-1 on the over. The Ducks have been held scoreless in back-to-back games, but expect some positive regression on that front. Troy Terry and Trevor Zegras is a great young combo that can make things happen in a hurry. It is only a matter of time before they get back on track. In addition, with the way the Lightning are scoring, the Ducks may not need to add many for the over to cash. Look for scoring from both teams and take the over.

Minnesota Wild -1.5 (+172) over Chicago Blackhawks
Minnesota boasts a well-rounded scoring group that is scoring 3.66 goals per game. That is the 3rd-best mark in the league. The Blackhawks are 8-10 straight up on home ice this season and 2-3 over their past 5 home games. The wins came against Anaheim and Montreal, and those teams are about half the unit that the Wild are. A concerning stat for Chicago tonight is that they are 5th-to-last in Corsi For % this season (shot-attempt differential at even strength) at 46.3%, so you can expect their scoring woes to continue. The Wild are the better team and should be able to take care of business.

Coyotes vs Islanders under 5.5 (-134)
Both of these teams have really struggled to generate offense this season, and they have both played some low-scoring games lately. In Arizona’s last 5 games, 3 of the totals have stayed under. The under has also hit in 5 of the Islanders’ last 6 games and 7 of their last 10. Whether the Islanders and Coyotes win or lose, their game totals have been staying low. That’s not too hard to believe considering New York is 30th in the NHL with 2.31 goals scored per game and Arizona is right behind them at 31st with 2.26. These teams have played once this season with a 3-0 final in favor of the Islanders. Overall, this is a matchup between 2 offensively challenged teams. That has been shown once already this season, and it would not be surprising if we get another low-scoring affair.
