There is nothing that the Panthers do at this point that could surprise anyone. Although if any team could find a way to pull off a surprise, it’s them. But Florida continues to frustrate opponents and just bully their way to the next round. This series is not over yet though. As long as the Hurricanes are alive, they will make a push. A Carolina push has not been enough so far but now their season depends on coming through. There has not been much space in this series which has made for some great games, and Game 4 should bring more of the same. Florida Panthers -1.5 over Carolina Hurricanes (+225)
The Panthers have now won 4 games in a row and 10 out of their last 11 since Game 4 of the opening round. They have given us no reason to jump off the wagon now. Florida has brought fantastic value on the money line considering they were the underdog in every single one of those games until Monday’s Game 3. The Panthers will be anxious to wrap this series up and soak in every bit of rest and recovery they can before the Stanley Cup Finals get underway.
The Hurricanes obviously have not been far off in this series — a couple of favorable bounces and they could be up in this series. But the Panthers just find a way. If Florida can take a lead late into the third period, Carolina will pull their goalie in enough time to give the Panthers chances at the open net. Again, until or unless the Panthers prove otherwise, there is no reason to jump off the bandwagon.

Aleksander Barkov over 0.5 goals (+180)
There was some chatter about Aleksander Barkov being a little too quiet offensively. He had 6 points in 7 games against Boston, just 3 in 5 games against Toronto, but has bounced back with 3 points in 2 games against Carolina. All in all, Barkov has 12 points in 15 games played this postseason with a +6 rating. That likely would not win the Conn Smythe should the Panthers win the Stanley Cup. But it is exactly what this team needs.
After playing just 6 shifts and 3:51 of ice time in Game 3, Barkov was pulled from the game but is expected to play in Game 4. In a series so far where goals have come at a premium, Barkov has 2 goals and an assist on the Panthers’ 6 total goals scored. This is a big game and big players come through in big games. Barkov has as good of a chance as any Panthers player to be in the mix on Wednesday and gets +180 to do so.
