The 2021 NFL season has been epic and the Week 14 slate was a ton of fun. As we turn our attention to Week 15, we have an interesting Thursday Night Football matchup here as the Los Angeles Chargers host the Kansas City Chiefs. What better way to make this rivalry game even more exciting than by betting a same game parlay? I cashed our mega parlay for Week 13 on Sunday at +1255, and I also hit the Week 11 mega parlay at +1762, so I’m feeling it right now when it comes to big money parlays.
Here we go:
Los Angeles Chargers -6.5 alt. spread (+300)
Keenan Allen 100+ alt. receiving yards (+200)
Parlay odds: +1150
We have a 2-leg same game parlay which pays out at almost 12/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down:
Los Angeles Chargers -6.5 alt. spread (+300)
To start this same game parlay we have the Chargers on an alternate spread. I think the Chiefs are being a bit overrated and I’m not sure they are all the way back just because they have won six in a row. For starters, five of those wins came at home. Five of those wins came against the Giants, Packers (with Jordan Love at quarterback), Broncos, and Raiders (twice). This is going to be their stiffest challenge in a while, and I think we’ll see their issues crop up again.
The Chargers, on the other handm are starting to peak; they got the offense figured out at the bye week. Since then, Justin Herbert has been downright dominant. The Chargers won the first matchup between these teams and that was at Arrowhead and before the Chiefs’ offense cratered. Patrick Mahomes averaged only 5.9 yards per attempt in that game, and Los Angeles’ defense has been improving in recent weeks.

Keenan Allen 100+ alt. receiving yards (+200)
This concludes our simple two-leg same game parlay. And I like the correlation between both of these plays. FanDuel’s calculator actually seems to think this goes in the opposite direction, but the Chargers are 5-2 the last seven times Allen has gone over 100 yards. He’s gotten to at least 98 in three of his past four games overall, and Allen always seems to ball out in these big nationally televised games. The last time the Chargers were in primetime a couple of weeks ago against the Steelers, Allen went off for 9/112. His volume has been consistent, as Allen has drawn at least eight targets in all but one game this season. In the first meeting between these teams he had 12 targets.
