The first handful of weeks of the 2021 NFL season have been epic. Now we’ll be treated to another full slate this coming Sunday for Week 7. We have arguably the best game of the slate here as the Baltimore Ravens host the Cincinnati Bengals. It’s the only game of the day featuring two teams with winning records. What better way to make this pivotal division rivalry game even more exciting than by betting a same game parlay? We also have thoughts on the side and total for every Week 7 matchup, of course, which you can view in our NFL picks tab.
But for now let’s dive into this same game parlay:
Cincinnati Bengals ML (+230)
Ja’Marr Chase anytime TD scorer (+170)
Joe Burrow over 262.5 passing yards (-113)
Same Game Parlay odds: +1039
We have a 3-leg same game parlay which pays out just north of 10/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down:
Cincinnati Bengals ML (+230)
To start this same game parlay off we have the Bengals on the money line. Cincy is 4-2, and they would be 5-1 if they had been able to make a damn field goal in overtime against the Packers. Their only other loss was also by three points, so they aren’t that far off from being undefeated. The offense is getting most of the attention, but the defense has quietly taken a major step forward. Cincy is only allowing 6.5 yards per pass attempt, the third-best mark in the league.
That will help with slowing down this new and improved Ravens passing game. Baltimore is riding high off their big win over the Chargers, but outside of that one game I haven’t been too impressed. It took a miraculous comeback for the Ravens to squeak by the Colts in overtime, and they only beat the lowly Lions because of a record-breaking 66-yard field goal as time expired. That’s the same Detroit team that the Bengals just trounced 34-11.
Ja’Marr Chase anytime TD scorer (+170)
This correlates nicely with the first leg of our same game parlay. And it has some standalone value as well. Chase has been sensational as a rookie, and he clearly still has the chemistry with Burrow that they developed at LSU. Through his first six games as a pro, he has five touchdowns. Baltimore has been susceptible to the big play deep, which is Chase’s specialty. He has at least 77 yards or a touchdown in every game, and I expect the Bengals to be throwing the ball a lot here. Which brings us to the next leg of our same game parlay…
Joe Burrow over 262.5 passing yards (-113)
To wrap this same game parlay up and hopefully bring us home, we’ve got the over on Burrow’s passing yards. Baltimore is still very stout against the run, and I’m not expecting Cincy to have too much success on the ground here. If they’re going to win this game Burrow is going to need to have a big day, so this correlates nicely with our first two legs. Burrow has gotten to at least 271 yards in three straight games, and is facing a Ravens secondary that has suffered some injuries. With Chase, Tyler Boyd, and Tee Higgins at his disposal, Baltimore won’t be able to cover anybody. 262 isn’t very much to eclipse for a guy who is averaging 8.9 yards per attempt this year.
