We’re officially a third of the way through the 2023 NFL season and it’s already been a wild campaign, with every team having tasted defeat at least once and there being no winless teams. Both the 49ers and Eagles lost their unbeaten tags last week in unexpected losses to the Browns and Jets. Will we have even more surprises this week? Fortunately here at Pickswise we’ve been crushing our bets on the side and total, currently boasting a 100-84-4 record for +32.2 units of profit. We have our NFL Week 7 picks posted already, so make sure you check those out. But for now, let’s get into my NFL mega parlay for Week 7 at +1211 odds. A quick reminder that I cashed the NFL Week 5 mega parlay at +1457 odds, so let’s make it another winning Sunday!

Lions ML (+130)

Giants ML (+130)

Rams -6.5 alternate spread (+148)

NFL Parlay odds: +1211

For this NFL parlay, we’re going with a couple of underdogs on the money line and a favorite on the alternate spread to win by at least a touchdown. With this parlay, we could get a payout of over 12/1! Let’s break down each of the legs.

Detroit Lions ML over Baltimore Ravens (+130)

I flagged the Lions up as a team I liked the look of when the NFL Week 7 opening lines were released, and I have no reason to change my mind. The Lions boast a 5-1 record and have looked tremendous in recent weeks, dominating the Buccaneers to win 20-6 last week. Next up they head to Maryland to take on the Ravens, who make the return from London after beating the Titans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. So far teams coming back from London have looked sluggish (the Bills against the Giants the most recent example) and I can see Dan Campbell taking advantage of that.

Furthermore, the Lions have been tremendous against the run this season — allowing the fewest rushing yards in the NFL, so should have success in shutting down the key component of Baltimore’s run game. Outside of Mark Andrews, the Ravens have really struggled to get a solid passing attack going this season, so I’m expecting them to struggle to put points on the board. At +130 odds, I’m all over Detroit getting the win on Sunday.

New York Giants ML over Washington Commanders (+130)

Next up in our NFL mega parlay, we have another money line underdog with the Giants taken to beat the Commanders. I know, the Giants are 1-5 and might soon have to bring in people from the crowd to play on the offensive line. While that could spell disaster for New York with Washington’s relentless pash-rush bearing down on either Daniel Jones or Tyrod Taylor, I’m still expecting this to be a close game. The Giants’ defense did very well to contain the Bills last Sunday and a couple of weeks ago held the Seahawks to under 300 yards. Even though the Dolphins put up 31 points on them, they seem able to do that to everyone and they did get 2 interceptions against Tua Tagovailoa. The point is, this defense is improving and I like their chances of getting to Sam Howell — who is the second-most sacked quarterback in the league.

As for Washington, this team has been incredibly inconsistent this season — going from taking the Eagles to overtime to getting blown out by the hapless Bears. The Commanders had lost 3 straight prior to last week’s win over Atlanta, and even then the Falcons had more than double the total yards on offense than Washington. I’m expecting this to be a low-scoring, ugly game, and that’s exactly the type of football I love. Give me the Giants to move to 2-5 and give their home crowd something to cheer about.

Los Angeles Rams -6.5 over Pittsburgh Steelers (+148)

To round off this NFL mega parlay, I’m taking the Rams to beat the Steelers by at least a touchdown. Again, this might raise the eyebrows of a few people since Pittsburgh is coming off its bye and just secured a big win over the Ravens (a win that helped cash our NFL Week 5 mega parlay, I might add). However, Baltimore dropped a ton of passes in that game and completely shut down the Steelers offense, so Pittsburgh really had no right to win that game. Prior to that the Steelers got annihilated 30-6 by the Texans.

The point is that the visitors have really struggled against top offenses this season, and I’m expecting the Steelers to have their hands full against a Rams team that is firing on all cylinders. Cooper Kupp is officially back, having hauled in 7 catches for 148 yards and a touchdown against the Cardinals last week, while Puka Nacua continues to be a vital cog in the passing game. The running-back situation has taken a major hit with Kyren Williams and Ronnie Rivers out, but I’ve got faith in Matthew Stafford and company doing enough to get the win by at least a touchdown against a stuttering Steelers team that has recorded 17 points or less in 3 of their 5 games.
