The Philadelphia Eagles are still the only undefeated team in the NFL after they took care of the Dallas Cowboys 26-17 on Sunday Night Football. The Atlanta Falcons are still the only undefeated team against the spread after they won and covered — easily — as underdogs with a 28-14 thumping of the San Francisco 49ers. Meanwhile, the game of the week was exactly as advertised. The Buffalo Bills went on the road and knocked off the Kansas City Chiefs in dramatic 24-20 fashion.
As for Week 7, it presents an interesting slate — but certainly not a blockbuster one. The opening lines were released at most sportsbooks on Sunday night, so let’s take a look at these openers and give our first impressions.

Best early bets for NFL Week 7
Atlanta Falcons +6 (-110) over Cincinnati Bengals
As mentioned above, the Falcons are 6-0 ATS through 6 weeks. They are also a respectable 3-3 straight up, poised to soar past their regular-season win total — and probably with a whole host of games to spare. The Bengals appear to be suffering a Super Bowl appearance hangover, as their 3-3 recorded is a disappointment based on last year’s standards. They just barely scraped past the Saints this past weekend, which is nothing to write home about. Six points are quite a lot for Atlanta.
Denver Broncos -3 (-110) over New York Jets
The Jets are overpriced after upsetting a struggling Green Bay squad. Proceed with caution at the moment given that Denver is playing Monday Night Football in Week 6, so it remains to be seen how Russell Wilson and company look and if there are any injury developments. Right now, though, the Broncos at home and giving just 3 points looks like a steal.
Kansas City Chiefs -3 (-110) over San Francisco 49ers
This is a nice buy-low spot for the Chiefs. Even at home, there is no shame in losing to what is generally considered to be the best team in football and currently the Super Bowl favorite. It looked like an even matchup, too, as Kansas City could have just as easily won the game. In part because of the disappointing end result, the Chiefs are giving only 3 points to the 49ers right now. San Francisco is massively banged up on the defensive side of the ball right now and it showed in its alarming performance against Atlanta — an offense that is lackluster even at full strength and was without Cordarrelle Patterson in Week 6. Just think of what Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the rest of the gang can do to this unit….
