NFL Week 4 same game parlay (+950 odds): Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Chiefs

The 1-2 Kansas City Chiefs take to the streets to play the 1-2 Philadelphia Eagles Sunday at 1:00pm ET. The beginning of the season hasn’t been what the Chiefs or their fans expected but they are far from dead in the water. Anytime you have Patrick Mahomes on your team, you always have a chance. They’ll try to get back on track in Philadelphia against an Eagles team that got pumped by the Dallas Cowboys in front of everybody on Monday night football in Week 3. No matter what happens in this game, it will be better if we have action on it. Here’s a little same game parlay to sweeten the pot a little.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire 65+ rushing yards

Jalen Hurts 45+ rushing yards

DeVonta Smith 65+ receiving yards

Parlay odds: +950

Clyde Edwards-Helaire 65+ rushing yards

Edwards-Helaire is getting a lot of smoke because of his butter fingers but if we’re being honest with ourselves, he’s not doing that bad this season. Outside of the fumbles, Edwards-Helaire has performed like a top-flight NFL running back. He’s going to get an Eagles defense that looked terrible against the Cowboys Monday particularly against the run. Some of the advanced metric sites are saying they aren’t bad against the run but I have eyes and I saw Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard gash them every time they had the ball. Philadelphia has to be weary of the pass this week with Mahomes under center so we should expect the same lack of attention to the run game. I think CEH runs for way more than 65 yards this week.

Jalen Hurts 45+ rushing yards

If I’m going to say the Eagles have a bad run defense, then we should probably talk about the Chiefs. Nick Chubb, Tyson Williams and Austin Ekeler have all averaged 5+ yards per carry on 10+ carries to start the season. In Week 2 we saw Lamar Jackson go 100+. There is no nice way to say it, the Chiefs can’t stop the run. The beauty of this one is the fact that the books really don’t know where to put the line on Hurts. His range of outcomes is 100+ or 20+. In a game in which I think both teams will be able to move the ball, Hurts’ rushing yards number is just too low. He is basically the Eagles’ running game and he’s already topped this number twice this season in 3 games. He should do it again.

DeVonta Smith 65+ receiving yards
