Whew! The first few weeks of the 2021 NFL season sure have been a wild ride. The action has been truly thrilling, and the return of pro football was well worth the wait. We’ve got a great Week 4 slate as well, which will be highlighted by a Sunday Night Football showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots in Tom Brady’s homecoming. With the NFL back, we might as well celebrate by trying to hit the jackpot and score a massive payday, right?
Each week we’ll be doing a millionaire parlay, picking every Sunday game on the money line for the chance at a ridiculous payday. You never know.
Without further ado, here is our 14-leg Week 4 millionaire parlay.
Washington Football Team (-120) over Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons picked up their first win of the season, but they didn’t exactly look great in their 17-14 squeaker over the Giants. Taylor Heinicke has impressed during his time as Washington’s starter, and I can’t fault Washington too much for losing decisively on the road against an elite Bills team.
Buffalo Bills (-1375) over Houston Texans
Is this line ridiculously steep? Yes. Do I want any part of the Texans even at 8/1? Absolutely not. Davis Mills isn’t going to go into Buffalo and beat the Bills as a 17-point underdog. It’s just not going to happen.
Chicago Bears (-140) over Detroit Lions
I like to clown on the Bears as much as the next guy, but the hate has gotten a bit out of control. Two weeks ago the Bears were three-point favorite over the Bengals, and they won. Then because of one (admittedly atrocious) game against the Lions, they’re now only a 2.5-point favorite against the lowly Lions. This price has value.
Dallas Cowboys (-210) over Carolina Panthers
Sure the Panthers have been a nice story while getting off to a 3-0 start, but their schedule couldn’t really have been much softer so far. They got the Jets in Zach Wilson’s first start, the Saints while missing a bunch of players and coaches, and then the Texans in Davis Mills’ first start. This step up in competition will be a wake-up call
Miami Dolphins (-130) over Indianapolis Colts
I’m not a big fan of the Dolphins right now, but I certainly don’t want any piece of this Colts team. Indy has been decimated by injuries, and Carson Wentz is playing on two bum ankles. Miami should be able to rely on their defense and pick up a win here at home.
Minnesota Vikings (+115) over Cleveland Browns
I’m higher than most on the Vikings. If it not for a controversial fumble call in overtime in Week 1 and a missed 37-yard field goal at the buzzer in Week 2, Minnesota would be 3-0. Kirk Cousins is playing lights out, and there’s a lot to like about this home underdog.
New York Giants (+270) over New Orleans Saints
Sure the Giants are a team you’ll have to plug your nose to bet, but you should do so here. Laying nearly a touchdown with Jameis Winston? Not something I’m looking to do. I expected the Saints to beat the Patriots last week, and they did, but now everyone has way overreacted.
Tennessee Titans (-310) over New York Jets
The Titans have many flaws, but the Jets aren’t the team to expose them. Zach Wilson has been a downright disaster, and I don’t have any interest in backing him even at a decent price.
Kansas City Chiefs (-310) over Philadelphia Eagles
The Chiefs off back to back losses? Give me an angry Patrick Mahomes any day of the week. The Eagles showed this past week they weren’t legit, and there’s no way their offense can keep up with Kansas City’s.
Los Angeles Rams (-210) over Arizona Cardinals
I’m just not sold on the Cardinals. They got to face a lifeless Jaguars team last week, and were actually trailing well into the third quarter of that game. The only good offense they’ve played so far is the Vikings’ and they got shredded in that game. Sean McVay should have plenty of success scheming against the Cardinals once again.
San Francisco 49ers (-155) over Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks once again have major defensive issues. Kyle Shanahan has to be licking his chops to face a Seattle defense that has had plenty of communication woes. With Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf both banged up, I like the 49ers a lot here.
Denver Broncos (-105) over Baltimore Ravens
The Broncos definitely have played an easy schedule. Full stop. And they probably aren’t quite as good as they’ve seemed. But Baltimore is being overvalued as well. Their defense simply hasn’t been very good, and the Broncos’ elite offense will do enough here.
Pittsburgh Steelers (+210) over Green Bay Packers
Getting 2/1 is too good to pass up here. I understand the tendency to bury the Steelers, and they’ve certainly looked terrible, but there’s value here. T.J. Watt is set to return, and their defense will do enough to keep them in this game down to the wire against an overrated Packers team.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-280) over New England Patriots
Brady gets the best of his former coach in this one. Mac Jones looked completely overmatched against the Saints last week the first time he was asked to do much, and he won’t respond well to this Bucs pass-rush.
