NFL Week 2 is nearly over, but first, we have a Monday Night Football doubleheader that features the New Orleans Saints taking on the Carolina Panthers and the Cleveland Browns facing the Pittsburgh Steelers. Looking ahead at Week 3, there are certain teams we would not have expected to still be searching for their first win, like the Bengals, Chargers and Vikings.

Best early bet for NFL Week 3: Rams +6.5 over Bengals (-110)
The Bengals continue to get the respect of a team that they used to be, not the team they are now. Joe Burrow and the Bengals fell to 0-2 after their Week 2 loss to the Ravens, and Burrow still didn’t look like himself. He was expected to bounce back and have a classic Joe Burrow game, but it’s clear that his calf injury is limiting his performance. He can’t scramble out of the pocket the way we’re used to seeing and it was announced that he reaggravated his calf injury during the loss. Meanwhile, the Rams played the 49ers in Week 2 and were competitive for the entire game. It was an untimely interception by Matthew Stafford that allowed San Francisco to win their second game of the season, so the Rams should be getting more respect than this spread. I had the Rams projected as +5 underdogs, so there’s plenty of value at +6.5.
