Week 2 of the NFL season is here, and it brings a lot of exciting and eye-catching matchups. Can Joe Burrow and the Bengals get back on track against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens? Can Mac Jones and the Patriots find a way to stop the Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill connection? And can the Chiefs be upset again?
We’ll find out the answers to all of those questions on Sunday, but in the meantime, here’s my NFL Week 2 mega parlay that pays out at over 13/1 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook. And make sure to check out all of our NFL Week 2 predictions!

Baltimore Ravens ML over Cincinnati Bengals (+140)
After being made the highest-paid player in NFL history, Joe Burrow had the worst performance of his professional career. The Bengals quarterback finished 14/31 with just 82 passing yards as Cincinnati was crushed 24-3 by the Browns. It wasn’t like the Browns were that much better than the Bengals since Deshaun Watson had only 154 passing yards, but the Bengals just couldn’t seem to do anything right — on offense or defense. The iconic Burrow-Chase connection had just 1 catch for a whopping 2 yards, so one of the best wide receivers in the game had zero impact in Week 1. And on defense, the Bengals’ defensive line couldn’t stop the run. Nick Chubb finished with 106 rushing yards and Watson added 45 more himself which is concerning with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens coming to town in Week 2.
Baltimore had a soft launch in their 2023 season since they took on the rookie quarterback CJ Stroud and the Texans in Week 1. The Ravens won the matchup 25-9, and that was with Baltimore appearing to take it easy in the second half. Lamar Jackson was 17/22 through the air and scrambled a few times for 36 total yards, so it wasn’t the most dangerous game by him, but then again, it didn’t need to be. However, that’s going to change in Week 2 since he will need to run more and continue to be accurate through the air. I’m also hoping Jackson gets his favorite red zone target, Mark Andrews, back in Week 2 to help take the load off of Zay Flowers’ shoulders. This game is likely going to finish within one score, and I think the Ravens can do enough to come away with the win.

San Francisco 49ers -9.5 over Los Angeles Rams (+124)
It’s a battle of 1-0 teams in Southern California on Sunday as Brock Purdy and the 49ers take on Matthew Stafford and the Rams. However, not many people expected Los Angeles to win their Week 1 matchup in Seattle. The Rams announced that they would be without Cooper Kupp for the first few weeks of the season as he continues to recover from his hamstring injury, so a lot of people wrote the Rams off, and it’s easy to see why. Without Kupp, how could the Rams be competitive? Stafford and the Rams took that personally, and after a sloppy and slow first half, the Rams shut out the Seahawks in the second half to win by several touchdowns. It was an impressive showing, but going from Seattle’s defense to San Francisco’s is like day to night.
Mr. Irrelevant is very, very relevant now. After an incredible rookie campaign that ended in an elbow injury, Purdy looked fabulous in his return to the offense. He had to face a Steelers defense that was hyped up all offseason, and Purdy didn’t even flinch. He ended with 220 passing yards and 2 touchdowns while Christian McCaffrey had over 150 rushing yards, so it was an entire team effort in their huge Week 1 win. I’m expecting a similar score to their Week 1 result.

Washington Commanders ML over Denver Broncos (+168)
This seems like the type of game that could feature one, maybe two touchdowns if we’re lucky. Sam Howell and Russell Wilson aren’t the most dangerous, nor dynamic, quarterbacks in football, but I honestly have more faith in the rookie QB1 and the young Commanders offense. Washington took home the Week 1 win against the Cardinals 20-16, but it could have been a much bigger win if Howell and the offense took better care of the ball. The Commanders had 3 turnovers, including a fumble by Howell which led to a scoop and score for the Cardinals. I hope Howell and the young offense got the nerves out of the way in Week 1 because giving teams several opportunities from turnovers is asking for a loss in today’s NFL era. Luckily for Howell, the Broncos defensive line barely even touched Jimmy G in their Week 1 matchup.
The Russell Wilson saga continues in Denver, and their 17-16 loss to the Raiders in Week 1 eliminated a little bit of hope that Broncos fans had for this season. Wilson completed 27 of his 34 passes, but he had only 177 passing yards. And Javonte Williams managed only 52 yards on the ground which doesn’t scream “dynamic offense” to me. Plus, Jerry Jeudy was out in Week 1 and could be sidelined again in Week 2 which could really hurt since Greg Dulcich will miss the next several weeks and their receiving corps isn’t the strongest unit in the league in the first place. I’m fading Wilson until he can win a game in Denver, even if it means taking the rookie QB1 as the underdog.
