We have already enjoyed 2 days of football during this Christmas week, but there is a lot more to come. Week 17 continues with a trio of games on Saturday, headlined by an intriguing showdown between the Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals. Three games provide us with more than enough ammo to attack the betting market.

Below is my mega parlay, and also be sure to check out all of our NFL picks.

Chargers -5.5 (+102)

Broncos ML (+152)

Cardinals +7 (-110)

NFL parlay odds: +872

For this parlay I am going with 1 underdog on the money line and 2 favorites against the spread – 1 on an alternate number. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Los Angeles Chargers -5.5 over New England Patriots (+102)

The Chargers can secure a playoff spot on Saturday, and I think they will do it. They are a far superior team, but the spread (-3.5) is relatively low since they have to travel across the country and play in a cold-weather environment. Well, it won’t be particularly cold in Foxborough this weekend – at least not by New England standards. I’m willing to tease the spread up a couple of points (and I’d probably be willing to do it even if the temperatures were freezing). Head coach Jim Harbaugh’s club is coming off a 34-27 win over Denver last week, and that was on Thursday Night Football so those 2 teams enjoyed some extra time to prepare for Week 17. The Chargers have won 6 of their last 9, with 2 of their losses during this stretch coming in competitive contests against the Ravens and Chiefs. Now they get a much easier matchup with the Patriots, who are 3-12 and have fallen off the map defensively following a decent start to the season on that side of the ball. Give me the Bots to win big.

Denver Broncos ML over Cincinnati Bengals (+152)

Like Los Angeles, a well-rested Denver squad can also clinch a playoff berth on Saturday. The Broncos also have a good chance to get the job done – even though they are underdogs in their road date with the Bengals. I think the Bo Nix-Courtland Sutton connection should be in store for a big afternoon. The Bengals are #28 in the NFL in scoring defense (26.2 points per game) and #26 in passing defense (231.6 yards). Sutton has racked up 71 receptions on 119 targets for 928 yards and 6 touchdowns. Four of his 6 TDs have come in the last 6 contests. Joe Burrow is having another big year for Cincinnati, but the defense is so bad that it might not even matter what Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase do this weekend. Don’t be surprised if the visitors win this one outright.

Arizona Cardinals +7 over Los Angeles Rams (-110)

The Rams can still make the playoffs (they are leading the NFC West, in fact); the Cardinals cannot. This could be a situation where the team in contention is a bit overpriced by the market since the opponent potentially lacks motivation. Well, Arizona probably isn’t going to roll over – not against a division rival. Having been eliminated from the playoff race a week ago, the Cards should be eager to put a dent in the Rams’ hopes. Although Los Angeles is good, it is far from a juggernaut. Head coach Sean McVay’s squad beat the Jets last week but scored just 19 points on 242 yards of total offense. Things may not get much better for Matthew Stafford and company because Arizona’s passing defense is sneaky good. I expect Arizona to keep this NFC West showdown within a touchdown.
