Week 11 was another eventful weekend of games across the NFL, and this week has been no different. To close out the Sunday portion of the Week 12 slate, we are getting back on the Same Game Parlay train, this time for a battle between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. With kickoff set for 8:15 pm ET on NBC, it’s time to forecast the action.

Part of the value in Same Game Parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. However, it actually adds more value if you can predict the game script that both teams will want to play. Let’s break down each of these legs one by one.
Green Bay Packers +7 (-115) vs Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia has routinely dominated opponents on the ground, but that might not happen this time around. The Packers defense should play with desperation and I expect that to carry over to the offensive side of the ball. Philadelphia has shown some vulnerability in the secondary in recent weeks, which should allow Aaron Rodgers and company to find soft spots and move down the field with effectiveness. Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon can be expected to move the ball on an Eagles run defense that is 17th in rush yards allowed and yards per carry. Additionally, the Eagles have not been winning games by margin in recent weeks. In fact, Philadelphia has covered the number twice in their last 6 games. Look for another close contest on Sunday night.

Under 47 (-115)
Games taking place in primetime this season have typically gone under, and I wouldn’t expect much to change this time around. The Packers keeping things close and covering this inflated spread pairs nicely with the game going under, as we often see in games involving underdogs of a touchdown or more. Green Bay’s run defense is the strength of the team, while the Eagles will naturally want to keep the ball on the ground as much as possible. Therefore, I expect the clock to be running throughout this game and for explosive plays to be harder to come by than usual for both teams. And even if the game does get out of hand, I don’t see the Eagles’ altering their strategy down the stretch. The only way I can look in this game is the under.

Aaron Jones anytime touchdown scorer (+100)
The Packers want to run the ball effectively in this one, which should shorten the game and make life easier on Aaron Rodgers and the passing game. Look no further than Aaron Jones to get the job done on Sunday. Jones has established himself as one of the best running backs in football this season, even as the Packers offense has sputtered. On the season, Jones is 8th in the NFL in rushing yards, as he has carried 143 times for 778 yards, including plenty of red zone touches. Look for Jones to get a plethora of carries and receptions out of the backfield once the Packers get inside Eagles territory. Regardless of where Green Bay is on the field, Jones is a threat to score.
