It’s an NFC West rivalry showdown between the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football. Los Angeles has lost three of its last four games, whereas Arizona is flying high with the best record in the NFL (10-2). Let’s take a look at the best same game parlay option for Rams vs Cardinals, and also be sure to check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.

Cardinals -9.5 alternate spread (+270)

Kyler Murray over 265.5 passing yards (-114)

James Conner to score a touchdown (-160)

Parlay odds: +804

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is the entire plan here, as Kyler Murray throwing for a bunch of yards and James Conner scoring a touchdown would obviously work well with a big win for Arizona. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Cardinals -9.5 alternate spread (+270)

Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins are back in business for the Cardinals. Murray and Hopkins returned from injuries last week against Chicago, and Arizona promptly rolled to a 33-22 victory that was a bigger blowout than the score suggests. Murray attempted just 15 passes (enough to throw for 2 touchdowns) and Hopkins caught only 2 balls (he did score a TD), basically just getting a nice warmup for a much more important game against the Rams. The Cards dominated the first meeting between the two teams 37-20 and even though the Rams don’t have much of a home-field advantage there is no reason to think they can turn the tide on the road. They are playing worse now and running back Darrell Henderson Jr. is sidelined by health and safety protocols. Arizona is fifth in the league against the pass, third in passing yards per attempt allowed, and third in fewest rushing touchdowns allowed. LA’s offense could be in trouble.

Kyler Murray over 265.5 passing yards (-114)

Murray was on fire earlier in 2021 and he should heat back up now that he has a game under his belt on his return from injury. The former No. 1 overall pick exceeded this quota (265.5) in four consecutive contests to begin the season. He has thrown for at least 261 yards in two of the past three outings, so that is also encouraging. Although the Rams are seventh in the NFL against the run, they are in the middle of the pack against the pass. Murray went for 268 yards at LA’s expense a couple of months ago, and that was in a blowout when he did not even have to air it out too much.

James Conner to score a touchdown (-160)

James Conner is quite simply a touchdown machine. He scored twice in Arizona’s beatdown the first time these teams squared off in Week 4 and he delivered his 14th TD of the year during last weekend’s rout of Chicago. Although the Rams are better defensively against the run than they are against the pass, they have surrendered the 7th-most rushing touchdowns (13). Conner is as reliable as they come in the department of finding the end zone, and that should continue against the Rams.
