Both the New Orleans Saints and Washington Football Team are 2-2 heading into their Sunday afternoon showdown in New Orleans. Let’s take a look at the best same game parlay option for Saints vs Football Team, and also be sure to check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.

Washington Football Team -2.5 alternate spread (+130)

Terry McLaurin over 69.5 receiving yards (-114)

Alvin Kamara to score a touchdown (-170)

Parlay odds: +763

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Terry McLaurin racking up a sizable amount of receiving yards would work well with a Washington win. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with betting on New Orleans running back Alvin Kamara to score a touchdown. But even if Kamara does, there is no reason why the Football Team can’t take care of business. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Washington Football Team -2.5 alternate spread (+130)

The Football Team has won 2 of its last 3 games heading into a home date with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon. Washington came back from an 8-point deficit late in the fourth quarter to beat Atlanta 34-30 last weekend and improve to 2-2. Taylor Heinicke is proving that last year’s playoff performance against Tampa Bay was no fluke. He is averaging almost 280 yards through the air over the past 3 contests and has accounted for 8 total touchdowns (1 rushing) during this stretch.

New Orleans is the most mercurial team in football at the moment. The Saints humiliated Green Bay 38-3 and won at New England, but lost to Carolina by 19 points and were upset at home by the Giants. There is just no way to trust a team coming off a home loss to a previously winless opponent. New Orleans is 4-10 ATS in its last 14 Week 5 contests and 1-6 ATS in the last 7 meetings between the teams. The Football Team is 5-2 ATS in its last 7 as an underdog. Look for Washington to not only cover but also win outright by a field goal or more.

Terry McLaurin over 69.5 receiving yards (-114)

The Saints are seventh from the bottom of the league in passing defense, allowing 283.3 yards per game. That is especially alarming because they held Green Bay to 186 in Week 1 and then faced Sam Darnold of Carolina, Mac Jones of New England, and Daniel Jones of the Giants. Those guys are in solid form, but they shouldn’t be lighting up teams through the air. Heinicke should have plenty success on Sunday, especially since he is riding a wave of momentum from a comeback win over Atlanta last weekend. Through 4 weeks, McLaurin has 25 catches on 38 targets for 354 yards and 3 touchdowns. He torched the Falcons for 123 yards and 2 scores on 6 receptions while being targeted 13 times.

Alvin Kamara to score a touchdown (-170)

Although -170 isn’t great value, in essence the value is much better because it boosts the parlay in a big way. It’s not like Kamara finding the endzone will severely cripple Washington’s chances of winning; after all, you have to expect it. Kamara has scored twice via receptions this year and he also churned out 126 rushing yards in Week 4. He has been given 50 carries over the past two contests. The former Tennessee standout is getting more and more involved, as he needs to be, and he should capitalize on those chances with another TD on Sunday.
