We are doubling your pleasure and doubling your fun with Monday Night Football this week. Why have only one game when you can have two? That’s right; Monday will see the Tennessee Titans take on the Buffalo Bills (7:15 pm ESPN) in addition to the Minnesota Vikings visiting the Philadelphia Eagles (8:30 pm ABC)

Here is our same game parlay for the nightcap in the NFC, and also be sure to check out our full Vikings-Eagles picks on the side and total in addition to all of our NFL Picks.

Minnesota Vikings +2.5 (-110)

Over 50.5 (-110)

Dalvin Cook to score a touchdown (-120)

Parlay odds: +383

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is the entire plan here, as Dalvin Cook scoring a touchdown would obviously work well with both a Vikings cover and the over hitting. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Minnesota Vikings +2.5 (-110)

The Vikings thrashed the Packers in Week 1 and they are more than capable of following that up with another big performance against the Eagles. Justin Jefferson was virtually unstoppable last weekend, which is no surprise. He had 9 receptions for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns. Adam Thielen remains a dangerous WR2 and Dalvin Cook continues to be one of the best running backs in the NFL. Considering that Philadelphia allowed Detroit RB D’Andre Swift to run wild in the season opener, Cook should be in line for a huge day at the office. The Eagles scored 38 points on the Lions, but this Vikings defense is a big step up from what they faced in Detroit. Expect a close game between these two teams who will know they have very realistic chances of winning their respective divisions in 2022.

Over 50.5 (-110)

Minnesota’s offense is the biggest reason why it can cover the spread; it will help over bets, as well. Philadelphia had little to no pass rush last season or Week 1 of this year, so Kirk Cousins can be expected to have plenty of success throwing the ball to Jefferson and Thielen. Moreover, Philly surrendered 181 rushing yards against the Lions last week and Cook will run rampant if those struggles continue. Meanwhile, the Vikings gave up an average of 4.7 yards per carry in the 2021 season – the 3rd-highest mark in the league. The Eagles’ lethal ground game that boasted 4 rushing touchdowns from 4 different players last week. All in all this has the makings of an over.

Dalvin Cook to score a touchdown (-120)

As mentioned above, the Eagles got torched by Swift in their Week 1 contest against the Lions and Cook should also be able to take advantage of this defense. Cook got off to a bit of a slow start against Green Bay but will likely be more productive on Monday at the expense of Philadelphia’s interior defense. If the Vikings are going to win or cover the spread and the over is going to cash, you have to think that Cook will contribute at least one touchdown to those two causes.
