E. Moore (CLE) to score a TD(+475)PIT Steelers @ CLE Browns

The Cleveland Browns’ offense looks revitalized with Jameis Winston under center. He nearly threw for 400 yards last week in New Orleans, with 234 coming in the 1st half. Nick Chubb will be playing in his 5th game after returning from a gruesome knee injury he sustained against this same Steelers defense. He’s yet to break out or get a full workload, largely due to the Browns playing from behind. That said, I’m targeting wide receiver Elijah Moore, who is averaging a 22% target share with Winston under center.

Even in wet conditions, the Browns will most likely be in a pass-heavy game script. Over the last 3 games, the Steelers rank in the top 3 in time of possession. It likely won’t take long for the Browns to abandon the run game altogether, as they did in the 2nd half last week, with Chubb rushing the ball just 5 times. Moore reeled in his 1st touchdown of the year last week on a dart from Winston in the back of the end zone. Moore adjusted well to the ball and toe-tapped for the touchdown. At +475, I’m willing to take a flyer on Moore with Winston’s pass attempts line at 34.5.

J. Warren (PIT) to score a TD(+275)PIT Steelers @ CLE Browns

The Steelers are coming off an impressive win over the Baltimore Ravens while not scoring a touchdown. Meanwhile, the Browns fell to the Saints by a score of 35-14 in Jameis Winston’s return to New Orleans. They allowed 3 rushing touchdowns alone to gadget player Taysom Hill.

Jaylen Warren and Najee Harris continue to be a great 1-2 punch out of the backfield. Since Warren returned to full strength, he’s registered at least 10 touches in 4 straight games. His rushing attempts line hovers at 9.5 on multiple books, while Harris is at 17.5. You can find Harris to score at +105 on DraftKings, but Warren at +275 is the better pivot. The conditions call for rain, and we’re expected to see a heavy dose of the running game from the Steelers in a projected positive game script.

Player Receiving Yards Pick
E. Moore (CLE) - Over 34.5 rec yds(-110)PIT Steelers @ CLE Browns

Elijah Moore is a former 2nd round pick who was highly touted coming out of Ole Miss. AJ Brown once stated he would bet his yearly salary on Moore winning Offensive Rookie of the Year. Luckily, that debt never came to be collected, but you can see glimpses of what made Moore so sought after. In the 3 starts for Jameis Winston, Moore has tied his previous games’ targets (29). He’s hit this number in 2 of 3 of those starts with long receptions of 17, 19 and 30. Jerry Jeudy, Cedric Tillman and Moore are the top 3 in this offense, but Moore has seen first-read looks on 23.9% of routes. It helps that the Steelers allow the 6th-most receiving yards to slot receivers this season.

What are NFL Prop Bets

NFL Prop Bets or Prop Bets in general are bets on the occurrence or non-occurrence of a specific thing to happen during a game. Instead of betting on the outcome of a game, you’re betting on the proposition of something within the game.. The most popular types of prop bets are NFL player prop bets and NFL team prop bets, with a whole host of markets available on every game of the season.

NFL Player Prop Bets

NFL Player Prop Bets are centered around a player’s performance in a particular game. The most commonly wagered NFL Player Prop Bets are passing yards, receiving yards, rushing yards, or a combination of the two for all-purpose yards. Near enough all online sportsbooks offering odds on football will also offer odds on Player Touchdowns, be it First, Last, or anytime. Defensive players aren’t forgotten in the Prop Bet markets either, with options to wager on a player to record an interception or a sack often also available.

Prop betting is becoming increasingly popular and the prop bets markets are championed by no sport more than professional football. Almost all online sportsbooks will offer prop bets on NFL games, but the bigger online sportsbooks such as FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM and Caesars tend to lead the way in terms of variation within the prop bet markets.

Just as important, if not more so than variation, is value. With the popularity and the number of sportsbooks offering NFL prop bets, be sure to compare the prices of your NFL prop bet picks, as you often see one sportsbook price up a player to score first at +400 but another could offer +600.
