For two teams that aren’t in the same division, Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills is quickly becoming one of the best rivalries in football. They faced each other in last year’s AFC Championship Game, which the Chiefs won 38-24. The Bills will have to do a lot more than beat Kansa City in a regular-season game to entirely avenge the AFC Championship loss, but they took a step in the right direction with a 38-20 victory in Week 5 of this season.
Who will take the latest chapter on Sunday? Which guys will play the hero role in their teams’ success? Let’s take a look with our best touchdown scorer prop bets for Bills vs Chiefs.

First touchdown scorer: Travis Kelce (+850)
Playoff time is Kelce time. Okay, any time is Kelce time — but the playoffs especially. Dating back to the AFC Championship between Kansas City and New England at the end of the 2017 season, he has scored 6 touchdowns in 8 playoff games (and that doesn’t even count last week’s touchdown pass!). He has scored a total of 9 TDs in those 8.
Kelce’s recent playoff history isn’t the only reason to think he will find the endzone on Sunday. The 32-year-old has scored in 4 consecutive contests after catching 5 passes for 101 yards and 1 TD during last weekend’s rout of Pittsburgh. In those 4 games he has delivered a total of 5 touchdowns (including 2 against the Chargers in Week 16). Did Kelce reach pay-dirt when the Chiefs and Bills collided back in Week 5? You bet he did. There is no reason to believe he won’t do so again. And don’t be surprised if he does it first, as Kansas City is on an absolute roll right now and will be energized early by the home crowd. Look for the Chiefs to put the first points on the board.

Anytime touchdown scorer: Stefon Diggs, WR, Buffalo Bills (+140)
The Chiefs’ defense isn’t exactly embarrassing anymore, but they are by no means special. They ranked 27th in the NFL against the pass during the regular season and surrendered 27 touchdowns through the air. Diggs did not take advantage back in Week 5, but the Bills were not throwing the ball a whole lot since they were leading pretty much from start to finish. There is reason to think Diggs will torch Kansas City this time around. After scoring only once through the first 5 games, the Maryland product delivered 9 TDs in the last 12 contests. Getting Diggs this far into the realm of plus money (+140) is a steal.
Anytime Touchdown Scorer FAQs
What does “anytime touchdown scorer” mean?
Anytime touchdown scorer is a popular player prop bet that NFL bettors can wager on throughout the season. But what is it, and how do you win?
As the name suggests, placing a wager on the anytime touchdown scorer market is when you tip a particular player to score a touchdown during a game. This can be a rushing or receiving touchdown for an offensive player, or you can wager on a team’s defense/special teams to score a touchdown by interception return and fumble return or kickoff and punt returns.
If your player or defense scores a touchdown, you win! The odds will differ from player-to-player depending on the sportsbooks’ calculated probability of that player scoring.
Does anytime touchdown scorer include passing touchdowns?
Not for a quarterback, no. A player must get into the end zone, himself, in order to qualify as an anytime touchdown scorer. If a quarterback throws a touchdown pass, only the player who caught it counts as the scorer. If Tom Brady throws a touchdown pass to Mike Evans, wagers placed on Evans as an anytime touchdown scorer will cash. However, those placed on Brady as an anytime touchdown scorer will not (unless he also runs for a TD). See below for more on what the anytime touchdown scorer market means for quarterbacks.
What does anytime touchdown scorer mean for a QB?
For a wager on a QB to be an anytime touchdown scorer to cash, he must follow the same rules as a running back, tight end, or receiver. He must get into the end zone himself, either as a runner or a pass-catcher.
In the age of the mobile quarterback, QBs such as Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray, and Josh Allen are often seen rushing in for a touchdown on any given Sunday. And don’t forget the occasional Philly Special, either. QBs can sometimes catch passes for TDs, too.
