The divisional round is in the books, and it was epic. As we turn our attention to Championship Sunday, the NFL season is officially winding down. That’s bittersweet, but we have got two great games to look forward to. And we are about to find out who will be playing in Super Bowl LVI. What better way to celebrate the occasion than by betting a same game parlay? The Rams and 49ers will do battle for the third time this season, and I have cooked up an SGP for the matchup.
Here we go:
Los Angeles Rams -3.5 (-106)
Matthew Stafford 300+ passing yards (+140)
Odell Beckham to score a touchdown (+140)
Parlay odds: +949
We have a 3-leg same game parlay, which pays out at north of 9/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down.
Los Angeles Rams -3.5 (-106)
To start this same game parlay we have the Rams against the spread. San Francisco won the first two meetings between these teams, but the third time should be the charm for head coach Sean McVay’s squad. The Rams are rolling right now, and they just dominated the Bucs last week. The final score says 30-27, but the game wasn’t that close at all until the very end. Los Angeles was in control from start to finish, and it played so well that it managed to defeat the defending Super Bowl champions on the road despite flukily losing 4 fumbles.
The 49ers have won games against the Cowboys and Packers to get here, but I don’t think they looked at all impressive in either one. Jimmy Garoppolo has done virtually nothing, and he won’t be able to just coast here. Last week against Green Bay, the 49ers didn’t even score an offensive touchdown.

Matthew Stafford 300+ passing yards (+140)
We are backing Stafford to have a big game for the second leg of our same game parlay. The 49ers are great at stopping the run, so I think McVay is going to put the game on Stafford’s shoulders and throw it a ton here. Cornerback is a weakness for San Francisco, and Stafford’s confidence is going to be at an all-time high coming off his legendary performance against the Bucs. Last week in Tampa, Stafford had 366 yards. The week before he only threw 17 passes because the Rams were beating the Cardinals by 20+, but he averaged 11.9 yards per attempt.
Odell Beckham to score a touchdown (+140)
This correlates nicely with the rest of our same game parlay. If the Rams are winning and Stafford has 300+ yards, there’s a very good chance Beckham found the endzone yet again. Overall, Beckham has scored a touchdown in 6 of 10 games since joining the Rams. And one of the games in which he didn’t score was his first with the team when he barely played, so it’s really more like 6 of 9. The 49ers are going to devote most of their defensive attention to slowing down Cooper Kupp, which should open things up for Beckham. McVay also loves using OBJ as a red-zone threat, and he gets plenty of scoring opportunities on things like short yardage goal-line fade routes.
