One of the most highly anticipated matchups of Week 6 is this late-slate clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Jets.

The Eagles will look to keep their perfect season going and improve to 6-0, while Zach Wilson and the Jets are trying to pull off their second straight upset. What better way to celebrate the action than by betting a Same Game Parlay? You can also read all our other NFL Week 6 picks here, but now let’s get right into it:

New York Jets -3.5 alternate spread (+420)

Breece Hall to rush for 100+ yards (+430)

Parlay odds: +1198

We have a 2-leg Same Game Parlay which pays out at almost 12/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down.

New York Jets -3.5 alternate spread (+420)

To start this Same Game Parlay we’ve got the Jets on an alternate spread. Philadelphia has started the year 5-0, but now is the time to sell high as I believe that record is a bit misleading. The Eagles’ 5 wins have come against the Patriots, Vikings, Bucs, Commanders and Rams. Tampa Bay is the only one of those teams that isn’t below .500. New England took them down to the final seconds, while Sam Howell and Washington took them to overtime.

The Eagles don’t have any signature wins, and now they’re going on the road to face a Jets team that has already shown against the Bills and Chiefs that they can hang against the league’s elite with Zach Wilson under center. They beat Buffalo and came extremely close to toppling Kansas City, making life miserable for both Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes in the process.

This is the best defense Jalen Hurts will have faced all season, and through 5 games not a single quarterback has managed to crack 7.0 yards per attempt against Robert Saleh’s secondary. The Eagles are also dealing with some key injuries on defense, including to star defensive tackle Jalen Carter and cornerback Darius Slay, which will make things a bit easier for Wilson.

Breece Hall to rush for 100+ yards (+430)

This correlates heavily with the first leg of our Same Game Parlay, since if the Jets are covering an alt. spread it’s very likely that Hall had a big day. Just look at his game log this year. The Jets are 2-3 this season, and in each of those wins he has rushed for at least 125 yards. In their losses, he’s been pretty quiet. Given that he’s already cleared this total easily in 2 of the team’s 5 games this season, I think +430 has some standalone value.

With Aaron Rodgers sidelined and Wilson thrown into the fire, the coaching staff is hoping to be as conservative as possible each week and they really only let Wilson sling it when they have to. Hall is coming off a monster game in which he gashed the Broncos for 177 yards and 8 yards per carry, and it looks like he’s finally going to get the volume he deserves moving forward.

The previous few weeks, Hall had been forced to split carries with high-profile signing Dalvin Cook, who has been pretty ineffective. But in last week’s win at Denver, Hall had 22 carries to only 6 for Cook, signaling that it’ll be his backfield moving forward. And with Jalen Carter out this week for Philly, their run defense will be much more vulnerable than it usually is.
