Monday Night Football takes us to Massachu- wait, never mind, the Patriots were flexed out of primetime. Originally, Week 15’s Monday Night Football was supposed to feature the Chiefs and Patriots in New England, but the Patriots have been so bad this season that they were flexed out of the spot for the first time in NFL history. Instead, it’s Philadelphia vs Seattle (a much better game), and I have a +634 Eagles vs Seahawks Same Game Parlay to add even more excitement to the matchup!
Eagles -3 (-115)
Geno Smith over 240.5 passing yards (-114)
DK Metcalf to score a touchdown (+155)
Same Game Parlay: +634
Philadelphia Eagles -3 over Seattle Seahawks (-115)
The last 5 weeks have been a gauntlet for the Eagles. Philadelphia has had to play the Chiefs, Bills, 49ers and Cowboys twice, and those 4 teams are all Super Bowl contenders this season. However, there is good news: Philadelphia’s end of the season couldn’t be easier. The Eagles play the Seahawks, Cardinals and Giants twice to close out the year, and those need to be 4 wins if the Eagles want a shot at the NFC title. The first step in that plan is a win over the Seahawks in Week 15, and oddsmakers are expecting just that.
Philly is a 3-point favorite in Seattle on Monday night, and it could become an even larger favorite if Seattle’s injury report continues to grow. Jamal Adams, Geno Smith, Devon Witherspoon and a lot of the offensive line have been sidelined at practice this week, as the Seahawks have been decimated by injuries lately. Injuries have been a big factor in Seattle’s 4-game losing streak, as its defense has allowed 29.25 points per game in that span. If the Eagles score 24 points or more, they should easily be able to cover this spread.

Geno Smith over 240.5 passing yards (-114)
This leg of the Same Game Parlay is less about backing Geno Smith and more about fading the Philadelphia secondary. Let’s take a look at the passing yards allowed by the Eagles’ defense in the last 6 games: 271, 314, 339, 177, 374 and 397 yards. Five of those 6 quarterbacks were easily able to surpass 240 passing yards and Smith should be able to as well. Philadelphia’s secondary has been the one blemish on their season thus far, and things might be going from bad to worse since star safety Reed Blankenship suffered a concussion in Week 14 and is questionable for Monday night. With DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba available on the outside, Smith has the weapons to hurt Philadelphia through the air

DK Metcalf to score a touchdown (+155)
DK Metcalf had 3 touchdowns from Week 1 to Week 12. It had been a disappointing season for Seattle’s young star until Week 13 rolled around. Metcalf put up a career night on Thursday Night Football against the Cowboys as he caught 6 passes for 134 yards and 3 touchdowns. He followed that up with a 52-yard performance with another touchdown in Week 14 against the 49ers, so for the first time this season, Metcalf has a touchdown in back-to-back games. I’m not expecting that to stop in Week 15 either because the Eagles’ secondary is the Achilles’ Heel of the Super Bowl-caliber team.
Philadelphia is allowing the 5th-most passing yards per game and only Reed Blankenship is having a solid season in the secondary. Last week, the Eagles allowed Dak Prescott to throw for 271 yards and 2 touchdowns before being taken out due to the massive lead. Before that, Brock Purdy threw for 314 yards and 4 touchdowns. And before that, Josh Allen threw for 339 yards and 2 touchdowns. See the theme? Geno Smith should have a field day through the air, and Metcalf should benefit the most.
