Dolphins ML (+120)

Cooper Kupp to score a touchdown (+150)

Dolphins vs Rams Same Game Parlay odds: +525

Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that you can have legs that somewhat contradict each other to drive up the potential payout. That’s the plan here, as Cooper Kupp finding the end zone doesn’t exactly align with a Dolphins win. However, regardless of the result, I don’t expect LA to be shut out entirely and the way Kupp has been playing, he looks more than capable of scoring a TD. Let’s break down each leg.

Miami Dolphins ML over LA Rams (+120)

For the first leg of our Same Game Parlay, let’s back the Dolphins outright on the money line. Even in a loss to Buffalo a week ago, the Dolphins’ offense finally looked like itself again, putting up plenty of yardage in what was a nip-and-tuck game for the entirety of the contest. Generating 26 first downs on the road is no easy feat, and Miami also was able to outgain the Bills by a decent margin (373-325) in that game. In fact, if it wasn’t for an early 2nd-half turnover that stunted a Dolphins drive that could have given the road team a 2-score lead, Miami likely would have won the game. After that turnover, the Dolphins’ defense capitulated and allowed 3 straight touchdowns in the 3rd and 4th quarters. While this obviously wasn’t the result that head coach Mike McDaniel and his team wanted, they did look more like the consistently above-average operation we’ve come to expect out of Miami over the last few seasons.

On the other side of the equation, the Rams are coming off their 3rd straight win, even though it did take a barrage of Seahawks turnovers to help secure that victory. Los Angeles has certainly benefited from the returns of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, a duo that greatly elevates Matthew Stafford’s output this season. This very young defense has also played better, led by rookie linebacker Jared Verse and a Rams’ front seven that has earned 10 sacks over the last 2 weeks. With that said, this Miami team represents a significant step up in offensive talent considering the injuries that Seattle had heading into last week’s game. The Dolphins are good enough to win this game outright, even against a red-hot Rams team, so let’s grab the plus-money odds with Miami to start our Dolphins vs Rams Same Game Parlay.

Cooper Kupp to score a touchdown (+150)

For the second leg of our Dolphins vs Rams Same Game Parlay picks, we’re going with Kupp to score a TD. When Kupp is healthy, there’s no debate that he’s one of the best receivers in football and the connection between him and Matthew Stafford is nearly unstoppable. Without the services of Nacua, Kupp was just targeted 14 times a week ago and finished with 11 receptions for over 100 yards against Seattle. In the 2 weeks since returning from injury, the veteran wideout has 16 receptions on a whopping 22 targets for over 150 yards and a touchdown. He should see plenty of volume this week against a Dolphins defense that has struggled mightily defending the pass, sitting at 27th in pass DVOA on the season. Miami was just shredded by Kyler Murray and Josh Allen, so Kupp should benefit from being Stafford’s top red-zone target on Monday.
