This Week 14 installment of Monday Night Football features the Cincinnati Bengals vs Dallas Cowboys. The Bengals’ playoff hopes are on life support, while the Cowboys are in the midst of a lost season due to injury and poor performance. Let’s dive into our Bengals vs Cowboys Same Game Parlay picks for MNF, which gets underway at 8:15 pm ET on ESPN. You can also find out our NFL picks on the side and total for this matchup, as well as every game throughout the 2024 NFL season.

Cowboys +5.5 (-110)

Over 49.5 (-108)

Ja’Marr Chase anytime touchdown scorer (-145)

Bengals vs Cowboys Same Game Parlay odds: +521

Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that you can have legs that somewhat contradict each other to drive up the potential payout. That’s the plan here, as Ja’Marr Chase finding the end zone doesn’t exactly align with the Cowboys covering the spread. However, regardless of the result, I don’t expect Dallas to shut down the Bengals entirely and with the way Chase has been playing, he looks more than capable of scoring a touchdown. Let’s break down each leg.

Dallas Cowboys +5.5 over Cincinnati Bengals (-110)

This Bengals team just can’t pick up a win, no matter how well Joe Burrow plays, and now Burrow is calling out colleagues after the game, saying his team needs to “change a lot of things” moving forward. Burrow has a point; after all, their defense is one of the worst in the league and Burrow is in the top 3 in quarterbacks most affected by drops. Despite all of their struggles, the Bengals are favored for the 8th time this season against a Cowboys team that’s at least finding routes to victory in recent weeks.

We’re not saying that this Cowboys team is any good, especially without Dak Prescott. However, what I can say is at least Dallas is fighting at this point in the season. Led by Cooper Rush at quarterback, Dallas is somehow coming off back-to-back divisional wins, and now they get to remain home off a long break to battle the Bengals. Dallas did well last week against a decent Giants defense, gaining 21 first downs and 317 total yards, with 0 turnovers to boot. Of course, a win against the fledgling Giants is hardly a huge accomplishment, but it’s unlikely that the Bengals’ defense will put up more of a fight than New York, meaning the Cowboys have an implied edge that oddsmakers could be discounting. The home underdog is certainly live in this matchup, so let’s grab the points with Dallas.

Over 49.5 (-108)

While there are paths for both teams to cover the spread, the game script should shade to the Over. Cincinnati is one of the more explosive offenses in the NFL, and it helps that this is a really good matchup for Burrow, since he’ll be taking on a defense that’s 29th in points per game allowed, 31st in points per play allowed, 30th in yards per pass and 28th in yards per rush allowed. Even though he’s been encumbered by his receivers’ mistakes this season, we still expect Burrow to thrive on Monday, much like how the rest of the season has gone.

On the other side, Cincinnati’s defense has been as bad as it gets this season. The Bengals’ defense bends and breaks often, allowing 128 rush yards per game to their opposition, a factor that Dallas will likely utilize to generate explosive plays through the air. And for what it’s worth, Rush has been solid in the starting role, coming off a couple of clean games with 0 INTs and a trio of touchdowns. Cincinnati’s pattern of high-scoring games should continue in this one, as the Bengals are 9-3 to the Over this season, exceeding the total by a whopping average of 18 points per game above the number.

Find out Prop Holliday’s best Bengals vs Cowboys player prop bet for MNF

Ja’Marr Chase anytime touchdown scorer (-145)

Ja’Marr Chase has long proven himself as one of the best wide receivers in the game, and the Bengals’ top wideout has been absolutely on fire in recent weeks. Chase grabbed 6 touchdowns over the past 3 weeks and he also finished with a combined 24 receptions in those contests. It’s safe to say that he and Burrow are clicking at the moment, and Chase should thrive once again on Sunday against a Cowboys secondary that has been a troublesome unit all season long. It’s hard to turn down the value on this prop at the current price, so let’s add it to our Bengals vs Cowboys Same Game Parlay for Monday Night Football.
