The shining jewel in the NFL Week 9 schedule — which features some real clunkers in the afternoon schedule — is an exciting matchup between the Dolphins and Chiefs, but you’ll have to get up early to see it as it kicks off at 9:30 am ET in Frankfurt, Germany.

The European fans are sure to be buzzing at the prospect of this clash between these Super Bowl contenders from the AFC, who both flew across the Atlantic with 6-2 records.

I have put together a 4-leg Dolphins vs Chiefs Same Game Parlay that would provide a payout at +891 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook if it is successful. You can check out the full game preview in our Week 9 NFL predictions, but now let’s take a look at my Dolphins vs Chiefs Same Game Parlay.

Dolphins +1.5 (-110)

Jeff Wilson Jr. over 19.5 rushing yards (-113)

Jaylen Waddle over 65.5 receiving yards (-113)

Isiah Pacheco over 3.5 receptions (+122)

Same Game Parlay odds: +891

Dolphins +1.5 (-110)

As I said when picking the Dolphins to win this game in our Week 9 millionaire maker parlay, this outcome would buck the trend of their season to date, which has seen them assume the role of bullies, mercilessly thrashing weaker teams (notably the 70-20 mauling of the Broncos) and coming up short on the two occasions that they have met teams with winning records against the Bills and Eagles, The Chiefs fit into the second category, but they haven’t helped themselves with their preparation for the game, which saw them arrive in Germany only on Friday, when the Dolphins had already been there for 3 full days. The Ravens were early arrivals when they beat the late-arriving Titans in London this year, while the Jaguars had been in the UK a full week longer when they beat the Bills.

Aside from the travel factor, the Dolphins are looking a more fluent team than the struggling Chiefs at the moment, and KC would no doubt have preferred a much easier matchup, preferably in the United States, to shake off the shocking loss to the Broncos. I’ll still take the Fins on the spread rather than the ML for this SGP, though, as the extra 1.5 points could come in useful if the teams serve up a thriller for the German fans.

Jeff Wilson Jr. over 19.5 rushing yards (-113)

I think this line is probably way too low as Jeff Wilson Jr. continues to work his way back into the Dolphins team after missing the first 6 games of the season due to injury. He was barely involved in his return against the Eagles, logging just 1 catch for 4 yards on the box score, but was handed the ball 5 times against the Patriots for 23 yards. That is already enough to cash this leg and I expect Wilson to be more involved as the weeks go on, earning more of the carries that have been dominated by Raheem Mostert to this point in the season.

Jaylen Waddle over 65.5 receiving yards (-113)

Jaylen Waddle probably benefited last week from Bill Belichick throwing all his defensive resources at stopping fellow WR Tyreek Hill as he led the team in receiving with a 121-yard day, but Hill still had 8 receptions for 112 yards too, so it wasn’t that successful! That shows the potency of the Dolphins passing attack under Tua Tagovailoa at the moment, and asking Waddle to post not much more than half last week’s total against the Chiefs seems fair enough. He is averaging 68.6 receiving yards per game this season even with a couple of quieter games.

Isiah Pacheco over 3.5 receptions (+122)

To help the parlay odds, it makes sense to include some kind of Chiefs over, and Isiah Pacheco looks a likely candidate to receive a few dump-off passes as well as planned receptions against the Dolphins. The Miami defense is capable of knocking Patrick Mahomes off his stride and a quick shovel pass or hurried throw to his running back may often be the best option he has. Pacheco has caught 13 of the 14 passes thrown his way in the Chiefs’ last 3 games. Jerick McKinnon has been much less of a factor for the Chiefs offense this season and, with Clyde Edwards-Helaire ruled out for this game, Pacheco should be able to pick up 4 passes this week.
