The NFL’s 2024 London Series continues in Week 6 with the Jacksonville Jaguars facing the Chicago Bears at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. London is the Jaguars’ home away from home, and this marks the first of back-to-back games across the pond for head coach Doug Pederson’s squad. Jacksonville heads into this one at 1-4, while Chicago is 3-2.

Here is my Same Game Parlay for the festivities, which get underway at 9:30 am ET on NFL Network. Also be sure to check out our full Jaguars vs Bears predictions.

Bears -2.5 alternate spread (+102)

D.J. Moore to score a touchdown (+170)

Travis Etienne Jr. Over 17.5 receiving yards (-113)

Parlay odds: +651

Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Chicago receiver D.J. Moore scoring a touchdown would obviously work well with a win by the Bears. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing Jacksonville running back Aaron Jones to be productive in the passing game. But even if that happens, there is no reason why Chicago can’t take care of business.

Bears -2.5 alternate spread (+102)

It took a few weeks, which is understandable, but Caled Williams and the Bears are heating up. They have won 2 straight with victories over the Los Angeles Rams and Carolina Panthers. Williams started slow but his recent performances have been very encouraging. Obviously it’s nothing special beating the Rams and Panthers, but it’s not like they are facing a difficult opponent on Sunday. A win over a banged-up Indianapolis Colts team last week notwithstanding, the Jaguars are horrible. They are 1-4 and the offense has not gotten going with Trevor Lawrence at the helm. Both Lawrence and Pederson are catching a lot of flak, and rightly so. Give me Chicago to prevail by at least a field goal.

D.J. Moore to score a touchdown (+170)

Chicago’s Week 5 matchup with Carolina was a tale of 2 franchises whose fortunes changed via a trade they made with each other in 2023. The Panthers infamously acquired the #1 overall pick in last year’s draft and selected Bryce Young, in the process shipping all kinds of assets – both players and draft capital – to the Bears. That not only resulted in Williams, but also in Moore. Although Moore hasn’t entirely taken off (in part because Justin Fields was his quarterback last season), he is starting to click with Williams. The Maryland product has caught 27 of 42 targets for 294 yards and 3 touchdowns so far in 2024. He has 32 TDs for his career, including 15 combined in 2022 and 2023. Moore and company now go up against a Jaguars pass defense that is dead last in the league and has allowed 10 scores through the air – third most in the NFL.

Travis Etienne Jr. Over 17.5 receiving yards (-113)

Etienne has been targeted at least 6 times twice in the last 3 weeks. He caught 6 of 7 targets for 43 yards this past Sunday against Indianapolis. Lawrence has been sacked 12 times and faces a Chicago defense that is #11 in the league in sacks with 14. He will want to get the ball out quickly, in which case Etienne would be the beneficiary. The Bears are giving up the 10th-most receptions per game to opposing running backs, so Etienne should be able to exceed a modest 17.5 number.
