Week 14 was another eventful weekend of games across the NFL, and this week should be no different. This Saturday, we are getting back on the Same Game Parlay train, this time for a battle between the Indianapolis Colts vs Minnesota Vikings. With kickoff set for 1:00 pm ET on NFL Network, it’s time to forecast the action.
Here is our SGP, and also be sure to keep an eye on our NFL picks for every game this season!
Minnesota Vikings -4.5 (-110)
Under 48.5 (-110)
Jonathan Taylor anytime touchdown scorer (-160)
Parlay odds: +813
Part of the value in Same Game Parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. However, it actually adds more value if you can predict the game script that both teams will want to play. Let’s break down each of these legs one by one.

Minnesota Vikings -4.5 (-110)
At home as favorites of less than a touchdown, the Vikings are nearly being treated as equals with the Colts. I just don’t see it with Indianapolis. Beyond the discrepancy in records, the Colts middling offense can’t boast anything along the lines of Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson and Dalvin Cook at the skill positions. What’s worse is that Indianapolis has lost 3 in a row and its most recent setbacks were especially bad. Matt Ryan was awful during a Week 12 loss to Pittsburgh and this Colts squad got outscored 33-0 in the fourth quarter of a recent 54-19 defeat against Dallas. The Colts are 2-5 against the number in their last 7 overall and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games. The Vikings should bounce back and win by a touchdown in this spot.

Under 48.5 (-110)
This is simply way too many points. It’s hard to believe but the Colts have exceeded the 20-point mark just once this season. While Minnesota is saddled with the worst passing defense in the NFL, Indianapolis is probably the last team that can take advantage of this weakness. The combination of an aging quarterback and an inexperienced receiving corps makes the Colts an extremely vertically challenged passing offense. On the other side, Vikings offensive linemen Garrett Bradbury and Christian Darrisaw are both out, which doesn’t bode well for their passing game either. The under is 14-4 in the Colts’ last 18 contests, and a resounding 6-1 in their last 7 against opponents with winning records. Look for that trend to continue on Saturday.

Jonathan Taylor anytime touchdown scorer (-160)
While the Colts offense has struggled mightily all season long, the lone bright spot has been Jonathan Taylor. It hasn’t been perfect, as the Indianapolis running back has struggled to find running lanes behind a mediocre offensive line. However, Taylor is still a threat to find the end zone almost every time he touches the ball. There’s a reason why he gets approximately 25 touches per game and his production should only increase against a weak Vikings defense. Taylor has reached paydirt in 3 of the last 4 Colts games and he should see a heavy workload once again on Saturday. I like backing this touchdown scorer prop as a way of adding value to our parlay.
