The NFL never stops. Even during the offseason, this league manages to make headlines without fail. That is certainly the case in April, when the NFL Draft takes center stage. This year it’s in Green Bay, and it will take place from Thursday, April 24 to Saturday, April 26.

Although there is no suspense surrounding the #1 overall pick, this year’s festivities offer plenty of intrigue at various positions and regarding a couple of franchises in particular. Let’s break down the top of the draft before things get crazy at Lambeau Field, while you can get all of the latest NFL odds for the upcoming season.

#1 NFL Draft pick odds and Titans prediction

  • Cam Ward -10000
  • Abdul Carter +1900
  • Travis Hunter +4000
  • Shedeur Sanders +5500
  • Jaxson Dart +10000

#1 NFL Draft prediction: Cam Ward, QB, Miami (-10000)

As the odds suggest, Ward going #1 is a slam dunk. Will Levis turned out to be a disaster, so the Titans simply have to cut their losses and use yet another first-round pick on a quarterback. They really don’t have any other choice. Abdul Carter and Travis Hunter are tempting, but the importance of the QB position trumps everything. It’s a wrap, so there is no reason to bite on either Carter or Hunter even at relatively long odds.

#2 NFL Draft pick odds and Browns prediction

  • Travis Hunter -330
  • Abdul Carter +230
  • Shedeur Sanders +1300
  • Cam Ward +4500
  • Jaxson Dart +5000

#2 NFL Draft prediction: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado (-330)

Myles Garrett ultimately agreed to go back to Cleveland, so the Browns don’t need Carter. Obviously a 2-headed pass-rush monster of Garrett and Carter would be amazing, but not to the extent that a 2-way player like Hunter can be passed up. Hunter is the best all-around player in the class and has great value for the Browns in this spot. At -330 he doesn’t have quite the same value for bettors, but he should still be the play.

#3 NFL Draft pick odds and Giants prediction

  • Abdul Carter -270
  • Travis Hunter +230
  • Shedeur Sanders +450
  • Ashton Jeanty +400
  • Jaxson Dart +6000

#3 NFL Draft prediction: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado (+450)

Carter is a clear favorite, but I’m more inclined to go with a longer shot and get Sanders at +450. It’s certainly not out of the question that the Giants could still go in that direction. Following the doldrums of the Daniel Jones era, this franchise needs an injection – and that can only be done by landing a high-profile quarterback. Russell Wilson, of course, isn’t a long-term solution. New York needs a QB of the future and a face of the franchise.
