Daily Fantasy Sports is taking over the globe, as it could be the quickest way to make a couple of bucks on the weekend. However if you want to win big playing NFL DFS for Week 16, you need to take a look at these players.
Matt Ryan – Quarterback – Atlanta Falcons – $6,100
Though it has been a disappointing year overall for Atlanta, Matt Ryan is still putting up MVP type stats. Ryan is throwing for an average of 287.1 yards per game and has 30 total touchdowns this season. The last time Matt Ryan faced the Panthers back in week 2, he threw for 272 yards and 2 touchdowns. This led to a total of 31.7 fantasy points. The Falcons now face a Carolina team who has completely fallen apart which makes me think Ryan will have another successful day behind center.
Saquon Barkley – Running Back – New York Giants – $7,900
For the first time all season Barkley was effectively shut down last week. Even with that being said Barkley is still a top play if you are willing to spend a good amount of salary on the potential that he has a break out game. Barkley has 1,115 rushing yards this year and 9 rushing touchdowns. Not only that, but he also has 654 receiving yards with 5 receiving touchdowns. Considering Barkley has been the go to guy for the Giants in his rookie season, he is worth a start in all daily fantasy games.
Robert Woods – Wide Receiver – Los Angeles Rams – $6,600
Woods has been a solid pick up pretty much all season long. He scores an average of 17.3 fantasy points per game, which makes him a solid play without spending too much of the allotted salary. Woods has 1,106 receiving yards this season and 5 receiving touchdowns. He has had at least 60 receiving yards in 14 of the 15 games this year, so by playing Woods you are almost guaranteed a solid amount of fantasy points. It is also worth mentioning that Woods is the leading receiver for his team and seems to get the most targets.
Rob Gronkowski – Tight End – New England Patriots – $5,600
The Patriots were off their game last week as the Steelers just had their number. Now the Patriots face a Bills defense which makes playing Gronk very inviting, especially since his salary is on the low side for a tight end. Gronk has 658 yards receiving yards this year. He does only have 3 touchdowns, but he is still a go to target for Tom Brady and should have a productive game against the Bills. It also helps Gronk’s case that Josh Gordon is no longer with the team. Gordon was the leading receiver, so with him out of the picture Gronk should most definitely see more targets.
Los Angeles Rams Defense/Special Teams – $3,200
While it is true that the Rams have struggled the past two weeks, they now are presented with a favorable matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. We saw what the Atlanta Falcons were able to do against Arizona, so it is only fitting that the Rams could do just as well. The Rams allow an average of 22.3 points per game. They have forced 15 interceptions and 11 fumbles this year, which is intriguing considering the Cardinals quarterback, Josh Rosen has been sub par in his rookie season.
